I ordered, sat down. After 5 min. Noticed a lot of people were getting their food but not us. So I got up stood for 6 minutes at the counter watching while our food sat under the warmer. It was obvious they were short staffed. Finally got our food. Wrong platter, cold fries, hard over cooked shrimp. Coleslaw was good. Highly disappointed.

The food we ordered was accurate and good, but they were out of ice cream (said they had been for two weeks!) and the lobby was just atrocious. No napkins to speak of and they only had small drink cups. A strange experience to say the least.

I have never had my food from the drive thru in less than 20 minutes. With one car ahead of me or being the only car. I keep convincing myself it’ll be quick this time, last time they must have been busy or short staffed. Well I’ve given up, I will never return. I’d like to say I’m sad about it but I have given you ample opportunities to fix your service. I was not suprised to see the exact same comments on here. How is this place still open?

To be blunt. Service is down right horrible. Long wait times, rude employees and store is never clean or in good shape. Root beer on keg has been broken for atleast the last 6 months. It’s a shame Long John Silver’s corporate let’s the manager run this store this way. Could be so much better with a good Captain at the helm.

Went through the drive thru today, sat at the order station for 5 min and no one asked for my order. Pulled up to the window and there was 1 car ahead of me. Sat there behind them for over 10 mins and no one ever came to the window. I left and as i pulled around I peeked inside, there was only 1 employee that I could see. Use to love going there, but lately its very iffy if you will get through quickly or that your order will be right. Come on management, look at the comments here and do something about it.

Slow. I have never been in the place, but I have been through the drive thru plenty and I have never waited under fifteen minutes. I don’t know what is going on in there, or if they ever have one employee on at a time, but it is slow. Today I waited 20 minutes and that was the last straw! I have heard from others that the place is dirty and gross on the inside so I’m happy with my decision to never revisit this fish purgatory again.

I’m not one to usually write a bad review but after multiple poor visits too this restaurant I feel that one is needed. I would just advise anyone visiting Long john silvers to drive to Captain D’s in Grandview, or try out The Fresh Catch down 58. You’ll be happy you did.

Here now and not impressed. 15 minutes waiting for the wrong food. A&W keg out of order, no cheese curds, and employees who are apathetic. They do so bad that the “ring the bell if we do good” bell is missing.

After I sat in the drive thru for over 6 minutes before I called them to see if they were even waiting on the drive thru customers. Which the guy that answered the didn’t understand what I was talking about. Restated that I can been waiting over 6 minutes in line and the same car that had been sitting in front of the speaker when I drove up was still there. He tried I to give an excuse that they were full inside to which I responded with I’m looking at the parking lot and there was no way they were full. He then said that going thru the drive thru is a standard 10 to 15 minute wait anyway. I told him I would take my business elsewhere. I talked to the person in the car at the speaker and told her what they had just told me on the phone. She told me that they hadn’t even greeted her or told her they would be with her to take her order. If all Long John Silvers are as bad as Belton’s I can understand now why a lot of them have closed.
