A little rundown but it was clean. Food was brought out quickly and was hot. The Mac and cheese was dry and no flavor, only took one bite. Hush puppies were fried to a rock hard tooth breaking crisp. The chicken and fish were perfect.

The health department needs to walk in here unannounced. Stopped today and the dining room is absolutely filthy. I have never been in any food establishment that was this disgusting.. Had to clean my own table. The paper cups for sauce were dirty. The floors were grimy. I am not exaggerating when I say that there was not a clean surface anywhere.

I pass through this town every few weeks, the nostalgia of LJS hasn’t changed a bit, except they’ve added fish tacos on the menu now, LoL. BTW, great suggestion that I get the fish tacos Le Ellen, thank you. I finally took the time to stop today instead of just driving through the town. Food was tasty and served with a friendly smile.

The food was not the best. Have never had a problem but for some reason it just wasn’t right. The service was not very friendly. It was clean for the most part except a lot of trash on the bathroom floor. Drove over an hour just for it and it was not worth the drive at all.
