Drove 30 minutes just to eat here since ours closed and it had been years since we had it. Came 20 minutes before they closed and went through the drive thru not expecting anything great since it was so late. The drive thru cashier was awesome, she was extremely friendly, which was a breath of fresh air. After ordering when we pulled up to the window she informed us it would be about a 4 minute wait because they were dropping it fresh. It was amazing, worth double that time for fresh food and great friendly service like she provided. Thank you for filling our craving for nostalgia.

The Fish was terrible. You know that it is bad when you get a better quality of fish from grocery store fish sticks. They were out of popcorn shrimp as well. Thankfully the hushpuppies and green beans were pretty good.

The management clearly didn’t want to help employees in training, got so distracted by the repeating of my order 5x that I didn’t realize until hours later that I never got my change back. I dont blame the lady at the counter, she was clearly new. The place is either understaffed, or staffed poorly. Most of what the manager did was run the drive thru, and yell at the cashier to figure it out. The 4 other sets of customers at the time, also had either missing items or the wrong items. If more than one person ordered, the food would be combined – a couple both ordered the shrimp basket, Half of her shrimp was in his basket.

Food was okay, but took forever. They forgot half my food so had to go back, but I don’t blame the cook. I would forget stuff too if the manager is just screaming at me the whole time. The cook apologized to us, but I told him not to worry since I heard his manager screaming at him the whole time. And the sad part was she had the window open standing in front of it doing it too, like you really have to do that in front of customers?

It was unfriendly Restaurant!! When I came in this restaurant and nobody around the kitchen until I see one of employees came to cook station. I told him, where is cashier? It took me to waiting for 3 minutes until the angry cashier show up. I told her that I am deaf and I am waiting for you to come to my order. It was rough communicate with the angry cashier what I needs. I had trouble to read her lips. This is my last visit….
