I have always had a soft spot for “Long Johns”. It was sad to watch so many locations close down in the mid 2000’s. As far as fast food goes, I always thought LJS stood alone at the top for what you were getting for the money.

Drive thru guy was very nice, food was hot and fresh. But my chicken and fries tasted like fish. As a kid i worked for LJS you never allowed to fry chicken and fries in the same vat as fish. And for the price i expected it to taste like chicken. Oh well lesson learned wont return.

Everything was served fast and hot! The chicken tenders and hush puppies were fried to perfection! I have made a 1 star deduction because the floor was filthy with greasy footprints and the staff didn’t seem totally up to par with cleanliness standards.
