Nice small breakfast place. Come in and choose where to sit. The food was good and as the staff was friendly.

This is a wonderfully old-time diner experience. The wait staff were over the top friendly. The time spent there was after the early birds (9am). Texas toast French Toast and bacon ordered. Texas is sure bigger than what was served. The bacon was burned and almost tasteless. I think this place is worth going to and I’ll return, but there are improvements to be made.

Plus 2 stars for the friendly service and old school NE diner atmosphere. Minus 2 stars for the food. The home fries were bland. The eggs had stringy burnt edges all around and uncooked clear white, which means the griddle was too hot and the eggs weren’t scooped together after being cracked. The toast was burnt on the bottom and slathered with way too much butter on top. Prices were good, but would not return.

Ordered the steak tips and eggs at all most $20. They tasted old and were not cooked to order (under cooked). They were tough abd grissely (cheap cut), but my dog didn’t seem to mind. In all fairness my wifes Irish Benny was to order and good.

Not impressed. My companion had a breakfast sandwich which was okay and potatoes that were not. They were bland. They looked and tasted like they’d been boiled, dumped on the grill for a minute and put on the plate, no seasoning to speak of. Service was good but after everyone raved about this place, I expected more than bland, just ok food.

They made breakfast. It was decent. Nothing stand out. Atmosphere is decidedly… Conservative country kitch. Servings are sizeable and service is fast. It’s obvious if you aren’t a regular but everyone was nice.

Good experience like the food just reminds me of like a home cooked meal in that sense versus other places. Definitely recommend.

I paid $34 for my daughter and I to have breakfast here and only one eighth of it was edible. I ordered a country omelette with “lightly toasted” white bread and what I got instead was a round completely burned inedible flying saucer stuffed with undercooked homefries and vegetables and a hint of egg with some burnt toast. I was charged $7.00 for two glasses of watered down juice. The worst part is that the cook and the waitress both knew it was burnt, yet silently slid it in front of me without a word, hoping I’d pay and shut up…Never again.
