How have we never heard of this place??!! Listen people…this. Place. Is. Amazingggg. Started with the pork rinds with homemade warm pimento cheese dip. Y’all….those pork rinds come out poppin and are so good! I got the brisket mac and cheese with brisket and diced tomatoes. Brisket is legit!! Next time I’m getting the brisket tacos!! The hubs got the Grand Prairie Burger which is three 7oz burgers with onion rings and lots of other stuff . He loved it! And he’s a true burger guy. Cleaned his plate! Meat sweats to follow… But lemme tell you this – Rachel, the manager, was AWESOME! She’s gorgeous and super fun but she also provides fantastic customer service. Y’all go visit and go hungry!! You won’t be disappointed.

My burger was incredible. The bun was fluffy. The patty was flavorful and the waitress was really nice. Oh, and the tots. Get the tots. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Glad I chose to eat here.

It was a chilly day in High Point NC and we ordered Fried Pickles for appetizer. Chili and Corn bread and Pinto Beans and corn bread.Perfect for a chilly fall day. Our server Darius was fantastic! He let me sample the chili to see how spicy it was. Never let our drinks get empty, had great knowledge of the food and brought everything out hot and in order. Plus Darius was so polite and eager to help us. Food was delicious!

People have been telling me about Lone Star for a couple of years now, and I finally decided to try them out a few weeks ago. To be honest, I was a little underwhelmed by the experience for a few reasons. The biggest is the servers: there were about six servers for a very small dining room, and as we went when they weren’t busy, it was a little disappointing to see the employees all just standing around at the hostess station on their phones. I wouldn’t mind so much if the floor under the table where we were seated wasn’t absolutely filthy (there was clearly time to clean). Our server wasn’t overly friendly. All in all, it just gave the place a strange vibe. The food was honestly good but not great. I got a burger with brisket on it, and the brisket was amazing. However, the burger patty was under seasoned by comparison, but the toppings saved it. I didn’t like the onion rings – the batter just sort of slid right off and I was left holding a cooked, slightly wet onion. The onion ring sauce tasted almost entirely of horseradish, which I love, but this was overkill. Their ranch wasn’t great, and tasted like it came straight from a Kraft bottle. It was a decent meal, but I can’t see myself feeling the urge to go back.

This place came highly recommended by a friend of mine so my daughter and I stopped by on our way to work and we both really enjoyed it. The food was spot on and our server by the name of Darius was amazing I wish all servers could be like him. We will definitely be back.

Really pretty inside , clean, the waitress was very sweet , the prices where kinda high but prices of food as gone up everywhere. I paid 23 dollars for two Jamaican Beach sliders onion rings and a brownie called a mud pie of with ice cream it was really good . The onion rings were kind of crunchy I mean I liked it but my mom was with me and she didn’t necessarily like them much as me but she is kinda picky she paid about ten dollars for her onion rings. Ok so the prices are high but is a fancy place so just make sure you are ready to spend over 40 dollars for a good meal. It depends on what you get worth it to me.

My friend and I went here for lunch and absolutely delicious. We started with the Cracklins pork rinds with homemade pimento cheese dip, this was the best, the pork rinds where still popping so fresh! I had the Woodlands grilled chicken, absolutely hands down the best chicken sandwich I have had in a very long time! My friend got the Biltmore burger, she said that was the freshed burger she has had, you could tell the burger was fresh meat not frozen. Darius was our waiter and he done a fantastic job!!! Excellent service great price for the quality, wonderful food!! The restaurant and bathroom exceptionally clean!!! Thanks for a great lunch!!! We will definitely return!

I came to Lone Star Burger for a Hospitality Law assignment along with two other High Point University students. They were the only restaurant to allow us to come speak with a manager, and they were so kind throughout the entire process. We loved meeting Rachel, the manager, and she was so generous to give us her time to speak with her. The atmosphere here was so nice, and it is a beautiful building! We were not able to dine here due to time constraints on our part, but I have a friend who absolutely raves about their food! They have a lot of delicious drink specials as well. We are hoping to return here soon.

Lone Star is the best restaurant High Point has seen in a long time. The food is stellar (the hand-breaded chicken is the best in this region), and the service is even better. The manager, Rachel, is top notch. The staff maintains an incredible level of professionalism, even in the face of trying levels of staffing due to these insane labor force issues affecting businesses in our nation.

Went there with my son, daughter in law and 2 young grandsons. The burgers were outstanding and delicious and were perfectly cooked and the fries, oh my goodness, I’m speechless, they were amazing We were all happy and full and the next day we couldn’t stop talking how good it was. I have honestly not had a burger and fries so good in a long time and look forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!!
