Anytime is a great time for London Fish and Chips omg so piping hot fresh out the fryer seasoned to perfection either with shrimp and chips. Service is very good and the staff is courteous and friendly. They keep the restaurant clean and inviting. I’ve been coming here over 20 years now.

London Fish & Chips has been a long time standing spot within Modesto California.. it feels kind of like a hole-in-the-wall kind of shop when you enter, but the staff are all courteous, and the food is ALWAYS delicious whenever we are able to go there.

I’m always skeptical of seafood places far from the coast. Since I’ve moved to Tracy from the Bay, I’ve been on a hunt for a good fish and chips place and this is the spot. From the outside I peeped into the kitchen and noticed the floor was clean and although the place looks outdated, it doesn’t matter. The service is fantastic and my family had a lovely experience. I was planning on writing this review the same day but I always look forward to tasting the food cold. I believe food should taste fantastic hot or cold. Sure enough, the portions were perfect enough to have lots of leftovers. We made sandwiches with the leftover and it saved my from being behind my stove. Definitely a place to stop and dine. While you’re there, get the fried mushrooms and hush puppies.Don’t rush to eat the mushrooms because they store alot of steam. But delicious!

It’s not a large place, not the greatest atmosphere. So I prefer takeout.. and not much parking, I’ve had to drive around sometimes and wait for an open parking slot.. but the Fish-and-chips are amazing. They have the best tartar sauce I’ve ever had. Well worth my 20-minute drive from my house.

Nice little hole in the wall that serves up authentic English Fish & Chips. They’ve been there for years & years. The meal was fresh, tasty & not too expensive. It’s worth a try & is definitely a repeat in my future!

This will always be our favorite spot in Modesto to visit when we hit the mall. Fish is always super fresh, Extra crispy and portions are fantastic. The hush puppies are my absolute favorite. Just stopped in on 9/18 for some fish because my husband was craving his favorite. Got him a 3 piece, prawns and an order of hush puppies. Will absolutely continue to come time and time again.
