The cod was beautiful the batter light & crisp. The coleslaw was good and the way I like it, not too sweet. The owner was a nice man who knew the history of the establishment. The cleanliness of the place was definitely a turn off. I might get take out next time.

OUTSTANDING fish & chips! However, the place is filthy. . . dusty vents, exit sign hanging by cord, floors desperately need mop, tables needs better cleaning, & the cooking area is a disaster. They need to shut down for a day or 2 & do a thorough cleaning. I suggest take-out.

Unfortunately, I can’t give this place a good review. The food was fresh and hot though, prices were good; we had 3 pieces of fish with fries (very small portion of fries but that was perfect for us). The fish did not seem to be seasoned–very bland, it is served in Styrofoam containers, plastic flatware–huge turn-off for dining-in. The plastic table cloth had not been wiped in quite some time it seemed. Salt and pepper are in tiny paper pouches, tartar sauce in little commercial squeezable pouches.
