Fish and chips always seems like a gamble but not at this place. I’ve eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. The chicken and coleslaw are excellent as well. It’s a bit pricey but so is everywhere else. The service is always prompt and friendly.

Big long pieces of fish. Ordered the 3 Pollock Meal, very tasty. Not saturated w grease, light crispy flavorful breading. Service was polite and quick. Paid $ 16 . Tarter is super good and so is the malt vinegar . Ask for a second cup if ordering ToGO as the fish pieces are big

We have found the food to be freshly prepared (burn-your-mouth-hot-out-of-the-oil), seasoned perfectly, not oily. We love that for a nominal amount you can swap fried zucchini for the chips. Fries are thin, crispy tender, not soggy potato wedges/paddles. Husband and wife work the entire restaurant. We look forward to stopping for lunch in Placerville. We highly recommend you try it. Other patrons take their food to go.

Don’t see many fish and chips places on our travels across the US, but found this small one. Ordered fish and chips along with calamari. No complaints. Staff/owner was friendly. Would come back again if in the area.

Surprisingly, this is very good! I was recommended this place and not disappointed. I didn’t know what to expect but when I came in, they were very friendly and the food came out hot and crispy, and just perfect. This review is not about whether it is considered “authentic” or not, but whether it is delicious, and I give this a high rating for deliciousness! Pollock is amazing.
