Pretty good food and friendly service. Just felt it was over priced, $9 for a simple import pilsner and $25 for a beef stew with rice and beans. That said it was a huge portion but I would prefer a smaller plate instead of a feeling to finish all this food. The beef cuts were fatty but great flavor with the rice. The fried yuca is nice too.

I was on a diet and my friends decided to get Peruvian food at Lola’s. I decided to get the seafood lomo saltado, which wasn’t the best decision due to all the carbs, but I justified it by saying I would only eat half the rice. Thirty minutes later, I look down at my plate and see nothing but the residual sauce from the lomo saltado. Sure, I was a little disappointed in myself for eating everything on my plate, but at the same time, this dish made me so happy and I would gladly eat another plate of this seafood, rice, and fries concoction. We went right before lunch so it was almost empty, but the service was good.

We went to celebrate my friend’s bday on Halloween weekend. We had a great time, the severs were dressed up adding to the fun vives. The food was good, a bit better than ok, but not the most delicious I have had, I think the service was missing the punch, Peruvian ceviche can be delicious, the one I had was just ok. I also tried the Lomo slatado, it was good too. The service was lacking, we all got our meals at different times. Overall, I will give it another try.

Started out well with good live music and good appetitizers, but then my main food (ceviche) never came after 35 minutes. Turned out the cooks didn’t get the order, but our waitress also never came by to check if we got everything. It’s too bad that the service left a bad taste since this looks like a cute spot for a date. We couldn’t wait for them to make the dish since we were parked in the meter on the main street. Definitely will not be coming back any time soon.

Happened to stop by this place by accident… One restaurant client going outside told me the food was great… we went in, and the server young girl was lovely. Food came and it was delicious, so far it all was great till I went to the restrooms …door was locked and of course I waited and waited for easy 10 mins… I needed to pee real bad luckily I’m a guy and I was aiming for the back door ! I could hear someone inside, I thought anytime soon… I was near the back kitchen door, people came out, and literally no a single one asked me if I needed assistance or anything as of matter of fact, it was like i wasn’t there waiting. Finally, I noticed employees went to another bathroom, bingo I was in luck…as I was stepping away the door open the one waitress inside got out and rushed away without any apologize. I then went in and was finally releasing the tension… when a loud knock startle me up… I said occupied… I did notice a phone right on top of the toilet paper dispenser… I’ve figured it was the lady… then, right away, she knocked again… I left my phone inside, I said to her one minute… then she replied, “Open the door. My phone is inside… I was like, what the smooch with this rude person… rushed to get out… she went in almost like I wasn’t there… at this point, I was super upset! There is no single acknowledgment for her rude behavior.

I just got my pick up order today from here and I paid 50 dollars for two lomo saltado. I asked for rice plates and I got pasta. I paid four additional dollars for beef and I got barely like five small pieces. This place is not worth it. Don’t go here, they’re ripping you off

After reading the reviews I had to come here. My first exposure to Peruvian cuisine is through Mark Weins YouTube and IG channel “Migrationology” . In particular, Peruvian ceviche, which looks different from the standard Mexican ceviche that I love so much. I found this place which was walking distance from my office, and got here early. Matter of fact, on a weekday around 11:45AM, I was the first one in. I was pleasantly greeted by a server named Jared who was super friendly and outgoing. Another gentlemen brought me some olive garden style bread sticks, and 2 dipping sauces. One sauce was a mayonnaise mixture that was delicious. The other was a green sauce that had the tiniest bit of heat. I ordered the ceviche mixto, which was one of two available ceviches on their lunch menu which was cheaper than their dinner menu. $12.99 versus $15.99 I believe. My food came out in about 7 minutes, but I was still the only on in the store. My first mouthful of ceviche was pure Bliss. I had a piece of white fish, a Kerbal of roasted corn, a sliver of red onion, and a bit of the “leche de tigre” which is the sauce mixture of lime/lemon/seasoning dripping off the seafood. The dish actually comes with both steamed corn kernels, and roasted corn kernels, to add a bit of starch to the fresh seafood. Also on my plate was a dollar pancake sized cut of sweet potato, also steamed to perfection. It was a perfectly sweet starchy addition to an otherwise very clean, citrusy refreshing dish. I did get an additional 2 breadsticks to go with my plate of seafood, which was just an amazing combination. The 2 dipping sauces, the soft bread, the clean and crisp smelling and tasting seafood , the brightness of the red onions, the crunch and aroma of the corn kernels, all added up to one of my favorite lunches I’ve ever had on Brand Blvd. And since I work here, I literally eat at every establishment south of the 134 down to the Americana on Brand. I found a winner here. 5 stars.

Unfortunately, this time was not a great experience. I’m afraid there is lack of consistency. We ordered a Chilcano de maracuya (peruvian passion fruit), ceviche mixto, chicharrón de pollo, and Lomo saltado. The only one that was very good was the drink, Chilcano de maracuya. All the plates were not well seasoned. The ceviche was a very small portion and needed salt, the chicharrón de pollo had no much flavor, and the Lomo saltado needed salt and more of the juices (gravy). Very dissapointed because the bill was over one hundred dollars.

Cute little spot offers authentic Peruvian food. Everything was fresh and served in a timely manner. Absolutely must try the ceviche mixto and the lucuma ice cream. What a delight.

Generally good food but bad service. We were waiting 10 minutes before somebody asked us for drinks. There was not a lot of people and enough servers. Before we got 4 bread sticks, this time we came only 2 bread sticks. Management definitely is trying to save when the prices per dish are extremely high. I don’t think that’s a good business strategy and it’ll come back around
