Salt and Pepper Chicken Lunch Special. With Pork Fried Rice, Two Fried Cheese Wontons, and a Spring Roll. Eggflower Soup. Inexpensive and very good. That Salt and Pepper Chicken has a delightful, almost unique flavor. Delivious – devilish and delicious. No, a typo. The rest of the meal was a shining example of American Chinese Cuisine. Older place, well kept. The employees were all gracious and professional. They knew every body coming through the door. I felt warmed on my insides by the familiarity of the lunch menu and the discovery of a new place to eat comfort foods. Thanks to my friends Curt and Susan. I will be back. Often.

Not thrilled that there’s only 5 pieces of BBQ pork. Same 5 pieces of shrimp. The bulk of the meal was mediocre rice and excessive breading on chicken. Egg Roll really unpleasant.

Food is always good. I wish they still had the battered fried shrimp but they now have breaded. Egg flower soup is the best I have ever had. They have their shrimp sauce, hot mustard, and sesame seeds on the table, I like that we don’t have to ask for them. We’ve been going there for years.

Be careful when ordering from here. The order dinner from here last night for our family and friends. Our two children where the only ones who did not eat the food. everybody who did, woke up this morning with food poisoning. Incredible amounts of pain, full body chills, and all the other lovely stuff that goes along with food poisoning. Are you still love ordering from here but since the management changed it seems to be going down hill. I even made a Facebook post about it to find out that I’m not the only one who’s had experiences like this from lok yaun in the past few months. I would have placed a picture of our order we spent 50+ dollar just for it to get extremely sick , so it ended up in the Trash ain’t nobody else had the chance to get sick.

I have ordered from here twice and both times I threw the food in the trash. I made the mistake of attempting to give them another try recently and I ordered Vegetable Chow Mein and I literally got steamed vegetables with an MSG flavored goop. I believe they screwed up and gave me Chop Suey instead but still, it was completely inedible.

It was really a dissapointing meal. The atmosphere was clinical, and cold. The tea was bad, the soup was not good, and the vegtables were under cooked. The egg rolls were also not good. It was not a good meal. The service was ok, and the waitress was nice.
