What a great little family owned deli! We stopped through for lunch from out of town and were so glad we did. We got the house made chicken salad sandwich (with a side of dill pickle pasta salad) and the grinder sandwich – both were very good! Also loved the freshly made peanut butter cookie. Would definitely recommend if you’re stopping through Mauston and don’t want the typical fast food option on the road.

Two HUGE billboards showing a particular sandwich so I made a special stop for it, staff had no clue what it was or if even served it. What a let down.

Threw away a lot of food when we visited here. The grilled cheese was made with the most horrible cheese and was disgusting—even or children wouldn’t eat it. I made the mistake of ordering a salad, assuming it would be an actual salad instead of a pile of romaine with chicken salad dumped on top. The chili was edible, not good, and my husband’s sandwich was also ok
