What I find to be most telling is the replies to reviews on their page. This is what made me hesitant to review them in the first place. They are unable to accept constructive or any other sort of criticism or feedback. My experience is not irrelevant nor did it happen a “long-long” time ago. We have been in Fish Creek every single year for the past almost 30 years before this was the LOFT and before it was Juniper’s Gin Joint and this experience was very specific to when we were just there one week ago.

Best meal and service I’ve had! They welcomed my husband, my dog and I. We got seated and served quickly. We ordered the emperors dinner, it was unbeatable!! Our hostess Irina and server Aaron were so kind and thoughtful! And the cooks did fantastic! Thank you for a great experience!!

Was visiting the state park with family, stopped by for dinner. Nice ambience , fast service , good drinks, good food. Bill for four people with drinks was around $200.

Even though it was a Saturday night and it was crowded. Our appetizer and main course were served fairly quickly. Our waiter Brogdon was very attentive and took care of us… We were a large group.

We were devastated when three of the restaurants we walked into said reservations only, and turned us away even when 99% of the tables were empty. Loft took walk-ins and is dog-friendly. The food was average. We had the calamari & fish pasta, korean wings, chicken & mashed potato, chicken pot pie, and the chicken sandwich. Being Korean-Amerocan, I wanted to see how “korean” The korean wings are. It just tasted like sweet barbeque sauce on wings. Interesting that they put the wet wiped ON the food and gave it to us like that. The chicken pot pie was good and my mothet really enjoyed the seafood pasta.

I love eating outside so this is always a go-to. I think the food is good, although the menu has really shrunk over the last years. Here’s my problem: when you ask people to pay $4.50 for bread and butter it should be exceptional. This was not, it was like a little half-loaf from Piggly Wiggly, with some melted butter in the middle. We paid the $4.50 and also asked for butter, which we didn’t get. We got a quick response as the server walked away saying “it’s already buttered.” The only reason for the 2-stars for atmosphere was there were 20 flies swarming all over the floor next to our table. They were small and looked like they just ‘hatched,’ which basically ruined my appetite. These types of things might be the reason there were so many empty tables, whereas Barringers couldn’t seat us until after 8:00. Just sayin.

Hands down best burger in Door county ! Beautiful presentation, delicious juicy burgers and top grade drinks that it will hard to stop at first round ! Staff were friendly and sat us down right away ! Highly recommend this place !
