Today was my first time in this restaurant and it couldn’t be better.

We rented the beautiful back dining room at Lock50 for our wedding this past weekend. From start to finish they made the process of planning an absolute breeze. Everyone was so responsive, friendly, and accommodating. And the food! The food was just spectacular. If you’re looking for a local restaurant to host a private event, even one as special as a wedding, Lock50 should be at the top of your list!

My family and I had an okay/average brunch here. Overall, the food was decent, but definitely not worth waiting 40+ minutes for our food to arrive (with one of the dishes arriving an extra 10 minutes after everything else). Very disappointed in that regard. We arrived early and it took some time before we could place our order. There was just one person taking people’s orders and it wouldn’t surprise me if there was only 1 person in the kitchen too. We didn’t see anybody else getting food during our wait either. Nobody came over to explain what was taking so long. Very short staffed for Sunday brunch it seemed.

Tasting menu was great; really enjoyed (ton of food, we rolled out).

Would give 5 stars for service alone, but the food was excellent too. Our bartender was so sweet and made me a delicious mocktail- they have NA spirits! My friend then had low blood sugar and was feeling faint, the staff brought us soda, bread, water, gave her a cold towel and kept checking in on her. Absolutely lovely folks that work here 🙂

We had the 7 course chef’s tasting, and it was fantastic. It’s definitely a special occasion sort of meal but good value for money considering. Portions were well sized, so you got to really taste everything. Good diversity of food too. If you are adventurous and like to be surprised this experience cannot be missed. If you don’t like surprises, the ala cart looked great too. Chef definitely knows what they are doing.

Came here for brunch and I was satisfied with what I got! We decided to eat outside since it was full inside but I think we made the right choice since it was spacious and the sunlight+heater made it really comfortable. I ordered the chicken with grits and the portion and taste was just perfect!

You know how amazing music gives you chills. My chicken and grits gave me chills they were that good. The flavors complimented each other to such an extent I can’t describe it. Hands down some of the best food I’ve had. Stop by, you will not regret it. Thanks for the great service Kim.

We enjoyed the tasting menu with wine very much. The food and service were both excellent. We would have appreciated a written menu to review while eating each course. The silverware might have been refreshed as the meal progressed, but it was not. Further, there were times we might have had an easier time if a steak or serated edged knife had been provided.
