Burgers are fresh, flavorful and paired nicely with the tots.

Not a fan! Between the food, drinks and busted booth seats, I don’t foresee myself returning anytime soon. I am not trying to be hurtful to a local business but it was bad. This is my honest, slightly harsh review.

Used to like this place! The quality of the food has diminished, the server behind the bar ( also the manager on duty) was rude. All a restaurant needs to have to be successful are good food and great service…neither to be found at “The Local”. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

First time I had been back since the week they opened. For some reason, the Local would never come up on “places to eat”. I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich and not pictured was the Berry Crisp. The food, overall, was very good! The Nashville Chicken is more of a red habanero paste, than a true Nashville pepper sauce. Nice heat to it and I liked that they even printed a warning for others that it is actually hot. The Cajun tots were crispy and had plenty of spices on them. The absolute star was the Berry Crisp though. It was in a large bowl, topped with whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream. It was very dense, but on the good kind of way. I could have just had that and would have been satisfied. I definitely think that we will be adding the Local to the family rotation.

This is the spot! Must try. Tucked away off of 146th, next to my favorite breakfast spot lies quality food with great service. The hosts was very nice, servers super nice and on the refills. The good is unique, quality and mix of regions.

There’s really nothing good to say. The place was a disaster, just about every single table was unoccupied and had dirty plates and left overs scattered across them. The host couldn’t find a clean table, so told us to sit at “the least dirty” and they would clear it later lol. Most of the staff was either talking with each other or waiting on the two or three tables that had people in it.

This is such a great spot with local, fresh ingredients, plenty of vegetarian and GF options and a solid beer selection. I hadn’t been here in years, but coming back again, it was just as good as I remember. I had the cauliflower wrap and Cajun tots. Delicious!

Every time we go there (1x a month maybe) we walk out satisfied and ask ourselves why we don’t go more often. Service is always good and the quality of the food is wonderful. They always have something new or different on the menu. Plus they have a great bar and always surprise with a new twist on a beverage.

Food was great, service was great, overall it was great! Came in for dinner to eat and watch some football (and whatever else was on the many TVs). Lots of options to eat and everything clearly marked as vegetarian — really appreciate this. Splurge on the 75¢ for Cajun spices on your tater tots — it’s worth it!!

Absolutely delicious! We started with the goat cheese which we wanted to lick the plate clean. I had the steak salad and my husband had the Nashville hot chicken, both were sooooo good! The bacon vinaigrette was DELICIOUS! My only complaint was that we were charged $2.50 for additional bread for our goat cheese. (we had a ton left from the first loaf and were not told additional bread would cost)
