Easy, delicious no-frills late lunch on a Saturday. We waited outdoors for a few minutes and then once heading in ordered at the counter before finding a seat and having our food come 5-10 minutes after. Easily the best lobster roll I’ve had (coming from Boston). Coleslaw was yummy too. Definitely recommend coming here.

We had a great experience at the Lobster Shack!. The atmosphere was charming and coastal, creating a perfect setting for a seafood feast.

Lovely little cozy spot in Perkins Cove Oquinquit Maine. Completely fits the quaint feel of Perkins Cove. It was my children’s first taste of lobster and they loved it! I appreciated getting to see and pick out the lobster before it was cooked. Potato salad was good. Chowder was yummy, a thinner broth but well seasoned with a touch of pepper. The lobster stew was delicious with a loads of chucks of lobster meat. Servers were polite and amicable. A must when visiting Oquinquit

We showed up for an early lunch. A gentleman greeted us at the front door, explained the menu, and left us with the owner to order. We got the lobster roll, of course, and I did something extremely out of character and ordered fish tacos from the East Coast. These guys really know fish. I would say it’s probably some of the best fish I’ve ever had in a fish taco! I’m very glad that I took the chance on these… they are top-notch tacos. It was completely unbelievable!

The door man was friendly, the staff inside all seemed annoyed and miserable. The lobster roll was average and I’ve had better for cheaper though it was a decent amount of meat it was ice cold, almost too cold to eat. The atmosphere was kind of dumpy with low ceilings dark and dated interior order at the window then find a seat and it was really loud. The experience was an experience and we would probably search for a better one next time.

Quaint little spot, aptly named. Order at the counter and food is brought to the table. We shared a few dishes and didn’t have enough utensils or plates. The food is very good, but again, not having a clean plate for a 2lb lobster is challenging. Chowder is amazing. Lobster stew has at least one whole lobster in it and is perfectly seasoned. Lobster roll was delicious! I’d go back!

Lobster, off the boat, cooked well, served with tasty corn and coleslaw that was just ok. Potato salad was better. Lobster roll are pretty good, wife says.

Lobster roll (I ordered hit with butter) and chowder special were both really good. Service was quick and friendly. There is not a lot of seating and the room could get small really quick. I am not a lobster roll aficionado to make comparisons with a lot of different places, but this was really good.

The lobster roll was hearty and the bun was buttery. And the fish tacos were fresh and came with great serving. Nice shack like ambience. Chowder was nice. Very authentic experience. Little pricey though.

The food was good. Everyone enjoyed it to include the picky kids. We had the chili, hotdog, grilled cheese, hamburger, fish sandwich, and, of course, a whole lobster. My only complaint was that my fish sandwich could’ve used a little more flavor. Even a lemon on the side would’ve made it perfect. The atmosphere was like, well, a lobster shack. It had that kind of rundown feeling of authenticity, which has its ups and downs. Apparently, the restroom was kinda grungy, as reported by those who used it. Their lobster sits in fresh water from the bay. I can’t forget the staff, very cheery, patient and even took some time to educate the kids about lobsters. Also, a pretty good selection of beers to include some local craft beers.
