Great service. Friendly. Lots of empty tables but without a reservation people were turned away. Fried artichoke app good. Calamari chewy with flourly tasting coating. Tomato sauce tasted burned .Very dark dining room. People were using flashlight apps to read menus. Odd little place with marginal food.

I’ve lived in Rockport for years and I never eaten at Lo Grasso’s. I went with my wife a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. The chicken parmesan was great and my wife said she loved her lasagna. I am not a friend or family member of the restaurant. I’m being honest. The food was great. They are booked friday-sunday every week. I think that says it all.

When we arrived we were told a small table by the wall was for us, but my mom has a knee injury so we asked for a table where her extended leg would not bother anyone walking by. There were three additional tables where we could have been seated but the waitress, only one for the 12-or-so table place, was rude and simply said that was the only table we “could” have.

This place is someplace that you are likely not going to find without help of a local. Not that it is hard to find just that it is not on the tourist radar. I know locals that have not tried it. After you try it I will bet you will make the effort to go back. My favorite place to eat in Rockport. The food is just great!
