Llano’s Hungry Hunter is on the northern outskirts of the city, right off of 71/29. It’s all local, but we as outsiders still felt at home. Friendly service.

Was in town from Houston on vacation, and was NOT disappointed, I had biscuits and gravy with sausage, and it was wonderful, service was excellent. I will definitely be back as soon as I can!

Cute little mom and pop restaurant! Good food and friendly staff! We had breakfast here and it was delicious! I had the french toast and my husband had the breakfast burritos. Quality and amount of food was great for the price! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a breakfast place!

All I can say is wow. We had such a wonderful time in this small quaint restaurant while we stayed in llano. We were truly shocked at the quality of the food. Soooo fresh and deliciously tasty every bite. Just thinking about it makes me think the 4 hour drive is worth it. We ordered the breakfast buffet and were so happy with our choice. So much to choose from and also you even get freshly cooked pancakes with it if you ask for them. It felt as if you got to experience those old wonderful breakfast you got served when you were a kid visiting grandparents and they made sure you left stuffed. We definitely will be returning back next time we come up for a weekend stop over. Staff super friendly and fast. Pricing was not expensive comparing to what kind of food you get where everything is precooked and made places that I will not mention names, but not at this place. Can’t say enough about it. Hope your experience will be good as ours was.

French fries could have stayed in the fryer a minute or so. Or the heat for the oil should have been turned up.

My husband and I were traveling back up to DFW from Fredericksburg this morning and looked for a little point on the way to have breakfast. This place was great, service was excellent, everyone was friendly, food was delicious and fast. It’s just this great little spot where travelers feel welcome and all the town people seem to know each other. Would definitely recommend this place and will stop back in on our next drive down

Wow!!! Great experience on a road. Traveling from San Antonio to Brownwood Breakfast stop at Hungry Hunter in Llano. Friendly staff, down home family atmosphere. There’s a breakfast buffet available plus order from the menu. 6 of our party head for the buffet. I went traditional by with french toast and sausage. Everyone was happy and full. Highly recommend this. Will definitely be stop again when passing through Llano
