Really a hole in the wall location being inside of a golf club, but the food does not disappoint. I was very surprised by the quality. The portions are also pretty large. Service is slower but there was only one person working all the tables. Really some of the best Hawaiian bbq I’ve had.

We were looking for something Hawaiian and came across this place. I am so glad we found it! The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors were just right and great portion size for the price and not over priced like a lot of other restaurants. I recommend the grilled beef or garlic shrimp. We liked this place so much that we came a second time before our trip was over and of course we weren’t disappointed the second time around either. I would 100% recommend!

Was really wanting bbq, but the chicken was not what I expected. The short ribs were tasty and I wished I would’ve just ordered them. Wish there was a sauce or soy sauce to pour over the rice. The macaroni salad was okay. Overall, I was not satisfied.

For my family’s 4th restaurant experience, we saw people carrying a cup that said this restaurants name and a to go cup. In our hotel’s hot tub, we decided to go to this joint, hopefully we are gonna have some good food after the past 3 restaurant experiences have been either not good or Nothing special. Let’s see if this joint is good to our expectations.

The older lady that works there with the short hair is rude. I asked her for a packet of teriyaki sauce for my teriyaki bowl and the lady ask for my receipt to get anything from her counter. I went to my table and came back, she examined the receipt and gave me the teriyaki sauce with and attitude. I ordered three bowls from this establishment and asked for condiments that are rightly given when you order forty dollars worth of food. The look on her face she gave me when I ask for two more was baffling. If your business is hurting that bad then maybe you should not be in business. I recommend no one buying anything from this place!

This place was a nice surprise. Looking to get off the tourist path by foot we walked over and found this little delight in the golf course. Very simple dining room but great view of the folders and the mountains. The food was so good and reasonably priced. The waitress was so kind and timely despite being the only one serving the full room. I’d gladly go back. I had the beef short ribs. My friend had the chicken katsu, good but was enough food to share with two people.

This L&L BBQ which is part of the franchise is located in the Ali Wai golf course club house. It’s a sit down quick-serve type place. Many of the local golfers that play at the city course in back of the building stop there for the 19th hole ⛳. The menu is a bit on the limited side leaning towards local fair. The prices are generally inexpensive for the area that it’s in. Once you make an order the food is out very quickly and it’s fresh and hot. The quality of the food is middle of the road. Looking at the price point of the establishment your expectations need to be on the low side. If you’re looking for fine dining this is not the place you should go.
