They really give you big portions, and the food is good, loved the BBQ chicken, hubby wasn’t as pleased, didn’t like the way they cut the ribs so thin. But he ate it all, so go figure. Very small place and non existent atmosphere but fine for take out, next to panda Express and a few other eateries.

Foods good, don’t order through the “no service fee” pick up options. They make the menu items cost you $5 more than if you ordered in person.

Best chicken katsu curry out of all the Hawaiian BBQs in SJ in my opinion

One of my favorite spots for getting takeout lunch during work. Never had a problem at this location. Food is good, service is quick, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. Not much else you can ask for honestly.

This review is regarding this particular location off of Cottle Rd. DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION. I’ve been buying from L and L everywhere over the past 18 years and this is the only location to ever fail me. I ordered food here with had some melted plastic in the food and had the food replaced. All was well until the food had hair in it and I haven’t returned to this location since. Unless the laws regarding food sanitation change and people allow foreign objects like hair and melted plastic they’re going to have to follow the rules period and I’m going to find my Island food fix elsewhere.

Thought I would give this place a second chance. Last time I was served paper thin chicken. This time it’s burnt burger patties with bland gravy. I mean…if you’re a so called Hawaiian restaurant, shouldn’t you be able to serve a decent loco moco. By far worst Hawaiian food I’ve ever had. Never again.
