Same as other branches. My fav is chicken katsu but the fried shrimp is good too. Ample portions, easily split between two. I like the mac salad better at another chain but L&L’s is OK. There are as many recipes for mac salad in Hawaii as there are grandmothers. Wish the put some dressing on the shredded cabbage.

Never returning here again. Straight got the point, I saw a huge roach inside the restaurant near one of the tables. If you see the gum machine, vending machine you can see they are super unclean. Dust and rotten everywhere. There’s absolutely no cleanness inside this restaurant. Boxes everywhere, everything is out of place. Completely grossed me out. It’s unfortunate I paid $50+ and saw the roaches.

The restaurant is very disorganized with boxes and cases of drinks stacked on top of each other against the wall. Kinda dirty and doesn’t look very welcoming. The cashier has no charisma. The one is Stockton is way better in terms of service and atmosphere.

Used to dine here for the ribs for years, lately I noticed the meat being really chewy and tough. Tried it again the other day and confirming it’s chewy and tough. Quality has gone downhill and I am feeling the after effects of the chewy tough meat today on the porcelain chair.

Food is good, at least #1 in the menu: barbeque mix. I was able to eat only half (YMMV) so I have it To Go but this one is tasty. Beware, if you dine in, you probably smell barbeque afterwards. AMEX is not accepted.

I came to California before to visit my boyfriend and we had Hawaiian food and it was good. But we tried L and L this time and I am the happiest! Its delicious and juicy and flavorful. I got the mixed bbq and the spam sushi. Highly recommend.

L&L is always hit and miss, we just moved back from Oahu to bay area and try every hawaiian place we can. L&L off island is usually gross and this wasn’t too big of an exception. Service is fine but the laulau was freezer burned and watery, a little tough. Musubi’s were not great, rice was hard, not the authentic hawaiian food we try to find.

Came here in the last minute decision. Decided to have a change in my lunch today. I can see why this place has only three stars out of five. The lady working at the register was so occupied with opening up packages instead of taking orders for incoming customers. Not forgetting to mention the cooks in the back… And then in a woman keeps arguing or loud, do you think it was an episode of Gordon Ramsay. No nothing special about the quality of the food. It is after all a chain restaurant so it’s pretty consistent money come to the quality of the food however, the quality of the service could have been better.
