This place is pretty good, and I really like the BBQ chicken a lot. The Katsu is good too, but the bbq chicken is phenomenal, and the sauces that come with both are really yummy. We got the combos, which came with 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad, which was delicious. We also tried their spam, which is worth getting to cut up and mix in your rice. They give you pretty large portions of meat that could for sure feed two people, but make sure to get extra macaroni salad 🙂

Dined with a friend. Enjoyed a Kahlua pork and cabbage bowl and my friend had short ribs. Both excellent and would order again!

I’ll make this quick and simple as we all gotta get that Hawaiian food.

I ordered the mix plate of beef and chicken. Chicken was okay. The beef tasted as if it were cooked earlier in the day and sat out for hours. The teriyaki sauce is extremely watery. They did not give me a full portion of short ribs and what they did give was full of fat. They threw in a bunch of rice under my meat to make it look like it was a full portion. $18 is a lot of money just to get rice and a little mac salad. I would suggest going anywhere else.

The Loco Moco I ordered was not as good as it was before. The gravy was Luke warm, the hamburger meat had a funny smell. I dont think I’ll be going back.

OMG! I have been ordering from here for about two months. And probably around 2 to 3 times a week. They are solid and consistent! I love this place! If I ever meet the owner, I would ask for their autograph! Yes I love this food that much!

I give 3 stars because the chicken katsu was really good. Otherwise, the wait was over 30 minutes with only 2 people waiting in line. VERY overpriced. $16 plus tax for 5 shrimp and plain rice and frozen wholesale French fries is disappointing. I think the heritage of the restaurant is nice but they need to step up the service and deliver better quality food.

Just as good as I remember! I haven’t been here in years and was very happy to see they were still in business.

The macaroni salad was warm and bad..no flavor and not Hawaiian. Meat and rice were good but probably will not return.

Really enjoy the Hawaiian themed food. My favorite is the Chicken katsu curry. Massive amount of food for the price so you’re guaranteed to be full. If you’re in the area and want something to eat, I would recommend coming here.
