Great counter help. Cooks weren’t wearing beard-nets for their facial hair I noticed and remembered when there was short curly dark hair in my beef plate. Food portions were plentiful but lacked savory flavor, like the seasonings had been watered down a touch too much. Entrée combos fairly priced, adding sides is costly. A so-so experience all in all. Could’ve been better. Could’ve been a lot worse.

This franchise is better than others in the area, however, I feel like the portions are getting smaller and the prices are going up. The food taste good

use to come to this L&L very often over the past 9 years. The food quality was always good and larger portions where the plate wouldn’t even close. To say the least I visited recently, for what I usually order the BBQ mix, substituting the chicken for the katsu chicken now for 17$. The macaroni is soggy now and the portions decreased by a few pieces. Usually even two people could get full now it’s barely enough if you’re hungry. Another thing, they may have changed the breading because part of it retained a lot of oil or something and left it mushy in a few parts of the chicken pieces. Bit disappointed for what I use to expect and the price.

The fried seafood with tartar sauce is sooo good and tastes like it was just fried (not old refried). I like to get the combo since it has hefty portions; it’s enough to eat for 2 people. The wait is fine even when it’s packed, there’s plenty of seating, and the staff is nice.

I get the bbq platter and for $15 it can feed you for 3 days. It comes with bbq chicken, teriyaki beef, short ribs, rice and mac salad. The meat is marinated and cooked to perfection. Where have you been if you haven’t tried this place yet?!

Avoid this location like the plague – drive 4.5 miles away to the Crenshaw location in Torrance. You get about 33-50% more at Crenshaw location, plus they don’t try and cheat by slicing the chicken to 1/8″ thick before breading it – they may as well serve Van De Kamps fish sticks because all you could taste was breading.

I ordered 6 spam musubis. I got home, took a bite of one, it tasted different and it was because they didn’t fry the spam or put it in the sauce. They cut the spam and put the sauce on top of the rice. All of them were like that. Never again and very disappointed

Definitely not the standard L&L normally is. Below average size portions. Longer than usual wait times. Taste is OK.
