Relaxed atmosphere, and the bartender was so friendly. My only caution would be that the appetizers are huge-my husband and I ordered two, and there was no need to order an entrée afterwards. Also, the blue cheese dressing was unreal. Normally, I’m not a fan, but I could have eaten it with a spoon, it was so good. Highly recommend

Waitress was extremely friendly. My wife had broiled cod and I had broiled perch. Both meals were phenomenal. Our kids had the shrimp and chicken tenders meal and the liked them also. We will definitely come back again. VERRY NICE

The new ownership has really got it together! Nice job! The grilled chicken Caesar salad was so good, they use good chicken here and it was grilled to perfection. My husband said the steak was also perfect (and he is super picky) and the ribs were delicious. The fries were cooked just right too. And the service was amazing. Thank you!!

Quiet different and cozy. We enjoyed ourselves. Our hosts and waitresses were kind and friendly. Cabin setting with tables and chairs. Food was great and so was the companionship.

Friendly staff and good food. A nice place to grab a bite after a day on the lake. We had a large party and they were accommodating. Had to wait a while before being seated, but that was no problem at all. I recommend the perch dinner.

I won’t be going back! We order frequently for the company I work for and have given it several chances. Today I ordered 2 specials for lunch and asked for them to be toasted. I’m aware that they were cold cuts, but didn’t think toasting them was a big deal. I also asked for mustard and ketchup, which we didn’t get and only one sandwich was toasted. Last time a few back we ordered taco salads and there was a puddle of water in the deep fried bowls. Didn’t say a word. I guess my point is I know times are tough and staffing is hard to keep, but I also feel like the staff you do have should read tickets and care about the food that’s being put out. I don’t think it’s much to ask for bread to be toasted and condiments to be given!!!

We had such a great experience this weekend at kilcare! I wish I remembered our waitresses name because she was fantastic! So patient, attentive and gave us recommendations. The food was excellent! Prime rib was a hit and the smothered chicken was great! We had a pretty large group; 6 adults and 2 kids and were impressed with how quick everything was. 5⭐️! Will absolutely be back.

Kilkare has been a favorite place for our family to go for dinner for the past 15 years, UNTIL it changed hands. In the past, the owners were always on site and visible, welcoming customers and working alongside their wait staff and bartenders. We have been in a numbers of times since the buyout happened and have not been impressed with how it’s being run, the food quality and orders being correct. Today, July 5, 2023 was the clincher. Tables were not being cleared timely (took 50 minutes for the table next to us to be cleared) and at one time there were enough dirty tables to take care of seating 35 customers. The restaurant was busy but not full. We watched a waiting family walk out. The hostess, bartender & wait staff were not being supported. Our waitress was doing the best she could but was visibly frustrated. Food orders were not coming out right, for us or the table by us. My daughter can’t tolerate gluten and the 1/2 pound hamburger patty ordered came out in a bun. I cannot have spicy food and my taco salad bowl came out with jalapeño peppers. Fortunately our daughter’s gluten intolerance does not cause anaphylaxis so we just took care of it ourselves rather than sending it back. I ate around the jalapeños the best I could. My husband’s fish dinner (shrimp, perch, cod )was missing perch and was only ok. Unfortunately, it will be a long while before we come back, unless something changes for the better.

Good food. Wings are excellent. Green beans are one of the best side dishes I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Been here three times and the food, beer, service, and people have all been great! Mandy is a top-notch bartender. Friendly, professional, and attentive!

Went on Friday evening for their prime rib dinner. Eventhough, I asked for medium rare and got medium it was still very good. ( I don’t think it was cooked wrong I thinkthey mixed up my friends and my meat). I could have sent it back but chose not to. As I said it was still very tasty. Being very busy the wait time was short and service was excellent.
