Food is good and aesthetic. Spicy broth is solid, the pork bone broth is bland. The meat are pretty decent quality and reasonably priced. I liked how they gave you guidelines for recommended sauces, the Chongqing style sauce was my favorite.

Mine and my son’s first time at a Chinese Hot Pot restaurant. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They told us everything about how it works. We ordered the three flavor, but should have done the one or two. Lots of food and Very Amazing! The spicy broth was the best! Would definitely go back if wver in the area! Way to go Liuyishou!!!

Been here several times, pricey but good quality. They charge for everything, from sauce to vegetables. This is not your typical AYCE hotpot place. I would expect to spend at least $100 here for two people.

This was such a great experience. The gentlemen who attended us was very kind and was able to help us out throughout the whole process since it was indeed our first time. He was also very attentive and kept coming back to assure we were doing good. In aspect of food, flavor was great. And we received great recommendations from the staff. Excellent service. Will definitely come back!!

The food was absolutely delicious. After reading reviews I was afraid to try the hot broth but the staff encouraged us to try it and I’m glad we did. If you cook things more superficially in the broth then it’s SO hot and literally made me question my existence. Once the heat would pass I would try again and I discovered that if I cooked the food deeper in the broth, then it wasn’t as spicy. It was quite flavorful! But staying superficial in the broth allowed more of the oils in the broth to be on the food which is where the most concentration of “heat” was. So, fun fact there.

I’ve never been to a hotpot place before, but even though we waited for over an hour to be seated it was definitely worth the wait. We had the beef & lamb platter, shrimp dumplings scallion pancakes, fried rice & so many sauces. We tryed the mushroom & the mild spicy broth (sorry forget the name) but everything was so good. Just the whole experience of having something hot & spicy on a chilly rainy night. 10/10

The experience was nice, the food was pretty good but I just can’t say for the price value & quantity of food you get didn’t equal out evenly. Also I will say, that I like hot & spicy foods but if you have someone who doesn’t like it don’t do the HOT broth even the mild was extremely HOT! Unfortunately to the point where you couldn’t enjoy the rest of your meal due to burning your taste buds on that one broth! So my advice would be to do the not HOT broth, and and to your spice. I did that and it was a much more enjoyable meal. Luckily I hadn’t put all my meal (noodles, meat, herbs and vegetables) in the HOT broth right away without testing it, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it.

We were a party of 3. The total bill with %20 tip was exactly $100. We ate so much beef, lamb, chicken and tripe. Mushrooms, veggies. It all tasted amazing. Service was great. Top 5 restaurant in the area. Fast service!! I want to rate it 8 stars.

If your first time guest, ask the staff what to do. We were guided by a really awesome waiter named Wisely! The good is SPICY. But if you heed the advice it can be quiet pleasant. We will be back. Food was fresh and it was a fun experience. Coming back with more friends

Not all Liuyishou are the same even though they operate under the same name. The one in Flushing is good, ayce and no extra charge for the sauce station. Can’t say the same for this one near Princeton, NJ. The service was lackluster and the waitress has a bad attitude like the whole world owes her. She was abrupt and impatient while we were ordering. The meat and vegetables were not fresh. We ordered medium spicy for the broth but for some reason it became spicier and spicier as you eat despite refilling more broth. Eventually it was not enjoyable even though we do have a high tolerance for spice. We spent $120 + tips for lunch for 2 which is steep considering the quality, quantity and service were not up to par. Will just have to go to Flushing for our hot pot fix. They are only able to stay in business because there are no other hot pot restaurants nearby.
