I haven’t had their Deep Dish pizza yet, so just reviewing it on the takeout I had with pepperoni and onion. Was pretty good! Lots of topping, which I appreciate, and not too much sauce. We also had the garlic bread, a great starter to-go.

We went there as a big group of 18 people and ordered all together 7 big deep dish pizzas. Our ranking of the 4 flavors we went with:

Came here on a Friday night! They won’t sit you until your whole party arrives and they don’t take reservations.

The pizza here is simply amazing. I cannot get enough of it. The cheese on the pizza here is always melted to perfection. The toppings on the pizza here are always fresh. It adds the perfect amount of flavor. You can taste the quality. The staff are friendly and attentive. They make the experience even better.

Our favorite go to pizza spot. Fave thing is the crusty corn edges of the deep dish. Small is enough to split with two people. The large is for 4 or a very hungry 3. Love love their sauce. I usually pair with ranch. Great for take out as well. Warm thick gooey ness.

As someone who has previously lived in Chicago, I can say this place is my home away from home when I find myself craving Deep Dish pizza. I also prefer Little Star over Patxi’s in Hayes. It’s less “hip” and more to the point, which I like.

Stopped by to pick up a pie for a potluck. Decided to linger for some wine and cheese. Staff were working super hard to keep up with the deluge of takeout and deliveries. I still got some level of attention at the bar which I appreciate. Pie was good (Little Star thin crust) and it reheated well at the party. Good balance of mushroom, spinach, and cheese. Crust wasn’t too thick or soggy.

It’s sooo good. The ingredients are top notch. Get the house favorite “little star” with roasted garlic. It’s not the super traditional Chicago deep dish that has a top crust but I prefer it this way. Deep but not too doughy.

Good pizza if you are in the area. Not a deep dish fan but the thin crust was nice and crunchy. Their wings are baked but still delicious. Coming from Texas, it was strange not having ranch lol. Their garlic bread looks like a mini pizza too. Pretty cool little place.

Little Star is the only pizza I will eat in San Francisco. The quality ingredients is evident in every bite. The cornmeal crust is amazing. Ordered a deep dish pie of sausage, pepperoni and garlic. All the flavors have great balance. The spicy dry rub chicken wings are so freaking delicious! Local tip: Go to this Little Star on Divisadero, avoid the Valencia Street location. Quality of food/service are not as good at the Mission location. Highly recommend Little Star on Divisadero
