Super amazing and inexpensive Shanghai style foods. Everything on the menu is delicious and freshly prepared. My favorites are the pan fried bun, scallion pancakes and beef noodle soup. Much much better and way cheaper than Din Tai Fung.

All entree and dishes here are certainly fabulous. They don’t expect tips and prices are reasonable. I personally have a hard time adjusting to post-pandemic price level so little Shanghai is the only place I eat out at.

The service and atmosphere were okay, but the food was not it. I ordered a stewed beef soup and the beef was chewy and fatty and the soup tasted like there was hydrogen peroxide mixed in. I normally finish my dish but I could only take a few bites. Also be warned if you can’t handle spicy, MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY. It was not a great experience and I was hungry too, which is a bummer. Wouldn’t recommend.

Love this place, have been coming for years even though we don’t even live in CA. Best SJB (sheng jian bao) in LA. Have yet to find a better version. Rivals the ones in Shanghai. Must must get. They also have a lot of Shanghaiese dishes/snacks that’s hard to find in other restaurants.

I think Little Shanghai Restaurant was average. We probably won’t return in the near future.

This is where you can get REAL Shanghai food in SGV, plus unbeatable price. If you are looking for true 上海生煎包, look no further. By the way, 上海生煎包is different from 水煎包。If you aren not into Shanghai local flavor (YES, THEY PUT SUGARS IN MEAT, IT’S NOT FOR SWEETNESS…), then pick other place in the same Plaza.

Found this Authentic Shanghai comfort food in a food court of all places. So far, I tried only 生煎包 and 紅燒牛肉麵。Both tasted good and remind me of food from Shanghai. There is no after tastes so MSG is not detected. Strictly speaking, the beef noodle tasted like 上海寜波口味 for those who knows the difference. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.

This is my dad’s favorite place to get Shanghai food for his home sickness. However, today’s Sheng-Jian-Bao were burnt. I messaged the shop, and no, there is no such thing as customer service… My dad said it happened before and he was too nice to say anything. Guess I’m not.
