This is one of those rare nights, in which I really regret not being able to offer more than five stars. This experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Plan to elaborate more on this in the future, but wanted to get a quick shout out along with some pictures.

I was driving through the Carolinas on business and wanted to try some good Carolina style BBQ. I was not disappointed. The hush puppies were the best I have ever eaten. Usually hush puppies are a “meh” dish for me, but these were incredible. The mustard sauce was nice and unique. The food came out quickly and it was a good atmosphere overall. I would definitely eat here again.

A good stop if you’re in town. We called 6 places asking if they had brisket and this was the first place to say yes! We came immediately and were seated right away. Service was pleasant from beginning to end. The brisket and baked beans were delicious. I was disappointed they didn’t have corn on the cob though. We took 1lb of brisket to go but didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as at the restaurant. I’d revisit again if I’m ever in the area.

Inconsiderate management when a take out order is made incorrectly and customer has to drive all the way back up there to get it rectified, wasting time, gas and ability to eat dinner with the rest of the family. Sincerely hope she didn’t resell the messed up order to someone else since it was demanded back. Also, when a customer says “no _____” and it’s put on the order anyways, management could be screwing with someone’s allergies.

I came here on 2/9/21 with my co worker for lunch around 2pm. We were in the area for work and was so hungry! This restaurant is in a little shopping center. When we went inside, it wasn’t that just and we were sat promptly. Our waitress was Savannah. She was attentive and friendly. We were gonna get food keto style but ultimately decided not to. I really wanted to get my money’s worth.

Got the beef brisket plate with Mac&Cheese and Cole slaw with hush puppies; the brisket was a little too dry for my taste, it had no juiced on it. The Mac&cheese is your typical bagged and heated, nothing home made. It was my first time going and the customer service was excellent! A lot of times people get treated differently when new, happy to say this was not the case here!
