Cute ambiance and venue but the food was just ok. My dish arrived cold and I asked them to microwave it, but they went ahead and made me a new plate, which was nice. Grits are not meant to be cold. There was also an fairly unappetizing, lukewarm broth (?) floating on top of the grits (see photo). I was glad the server was knowledgeable about gluten free options but I was charged extra for GF toast, even though it was not indicated on the menu. Overall, $37 (including tip), for one entree and no drinks or appetizers, I’d expect a very decent meal. My friends were similarly underwhelmed by the food (one of the salads pictured), even though we had a nice time overall.

A beautiful atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious food, that creates an incredible experience. Plenty of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options along with knowledgable staff to answer any questions. My favorite dishes were the Little Gem Salad, Pork Chop, Garganelli, and Semifreddo. Food has incredible flavors that will make you savor every bite!

I am excited to post this review AND share with my local foodie friends this new find. NEVER would have stumbled on the Little Fox, but someone gave us a gift certificate and I am so happy they did. We walked in and the place was hip and cozy with a ton of positive energy. There are two large rooms, the front one has an incredible bar. Do not miss having a cocktail especially one of their original creations. We had the Love Shack and The Transaction Report both a play on popular cocktails. For food we started with the Gem Salad which was beautifully presented, perfectly dressed and best of all Chilled. It was perfectly cold like a salad should be. We then had the Cannellini Crostini. I am not one for “bruschetta” but this was one with outstanding taste and texture. We then had the Bolognese Bianco which was served with a bucatini a great choice of pasta with the texture to hold up to the rich, meaty sauce. We finished with the Blueberry Cake which I highly recommend as well. Service was outstanding which is such an important part of dining out. We were splitting everything as we like to try as many things as we can and they cut the Crostini in half and even split a glass of wine which was incredibly thoughtful but not necessary. My only issue was the first course came out blazingly fast and we had barely taken the first sip from our cocktails and would have liked 5-10 minutes of enjoying my cocktail before eating. I CANNOT wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A really creative and delicious menu. Every item we ordered was 10/10 including the cocktails. Fresh, high quality ingredients cooked perfectly. Knowledgeable staff and well designed restaurant. A true gem of the St. Louis food scene.

Food is a little better than decent but nothing I will remember in a month or two. Service was decent also but our waiter seemed to have his mind preoccupied with something else, though he didnt do a bad job. Atmosphere is fairly good; I enjoyed being able to watch the chefs prepare food from our table. Dishes were mostly overpriced for the portions and quality offered. Cocktails are unique and pretty good (from the ones we tried).

The second you walk in the first thing you notice & feel are the good vibes of Little Fox. The colors are fresh & modern, but feels old school in a way. The service was outstanding. I could not have asked for a better experience with the couple of staff members I interacted with, they were knowledgable, respectful, funny, & just great at what they do. Now the food was next level. My fiancée & I ordered 2 starters, a small plate (that was bigger than small), & the pork chop. We loved every single dish. Everything was perfectly seasoned & cooked. We were about 90% done & were absolutely stuffed, but we unbuttoned our pants and fought the good fight. 10/10 & will be one of my first stops when I come back to St Louis.

Wow, this place is another reason why STL has some of the best restaurants. Now I understand why people kept telling me to go here. They were definitely right.

Great experience and loved that they have many options to do a family style kind of dining. We had an appetizer and then several small plates plus a few round of drinks. Our server had excellent recommendations on pairings and they had a really interesting natural wine selection. Excited to go back and try a few of the main dishes as well

Every time I go to Little Fox, I find a new reason to come back. The menu is constantly changing but consistently excellent, with a wide range of options so there’s something for everyone. Same with the cocktails, always something new and delicious to try. Best of all is the atmosphere, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with pairings and suggestions. Whether you are one person at the bar for a quick drink or a group looking to celebrate over a full dinner, you can’t beat Little Fox.
