At first glance, we were not sure if the place was open. The little acorn was very hit and miss with the food. Their burger was good and had a nice thick piece of bacon on it. The other people in my group did not like their food. This place is old and rundown. The table we sat at had at least seven flies, constantly bothering us, no matter what we did. The water dispenser in the soda machine was broken as well as the paper towel dispensers in the bathroom. They should really go around and just fix everything that’s broken.

I was just passing by and noticed this place and gave it a try. The outside looks a little bit old but the inside feels really cozy. I tried the country sandwich with french fries and a small strawberry shake. The meat was pretty good and french fries had a decent flavor. The shake was way better than the ones you get at other fast food restaurants.

First time coming here. I got a corn dog and English Chips. The English Chips were really good. The corn dog had a weird taste.. might have been the breading. I asked for mustard and the packets they gave me looked like they were years old and the color of the mustard was greenish. I did not eat it. Inside decorations need a lot of work and updated.

Old diner provides generous sized sandwiches and fries. Not particularly tasty. Place could stand a face-lift.

Solid hole in the wall burger place. Fries are great. Shakes are large.

We came in with a big group of 20 people. We were having a family outing with all the extended family, and we were impressed! It was just a tiny little diner, but the food was good and it was charming and fun! There are so many little interesting things to look at inside the restaurant.

Disgusting. The whole place needs to be pressure washed. Got a pastrami burger, and there was a tiny piece of pastrami, didn’t even cover the whole bun (which was burnt… A burnt bun?) Fries needed salt, but no salt available to add. Redeemed by the burger being very loaded with sauces. Tried a shake, thinking maybe that was the reason people love it. Meh.

I heard they had good bread so we stopped on our way coming out of highway 6. My friends that told me were right. Their bread is delicious! We got a wheat loaf and a white loaf. We had them slice it for us which was nice but they slice it in huge slices. I would prob rather not get it sliced and just slice it myself. You should stop if you are a carb lover like me.

Damn a dinner for the two of us under $16. When was the last time it felt so good? Their bread is truly fresh so no false advertisements there. That dainty lady at the counter, haven’t seen such a tenacious efficient manager in a long time.

Our favorite shake place and the food is pretty good as well. Inside needs a refresh but overall still come here often.
