Was driving through area looking for a bite to eat and found this place by good reviews. Little take out place, but they set up some tables so we could eat quick. Food was outstanding. Service top notch. Can get most stuff as a bowl/salad or wrap. Get the bowl, bigger portions then wrap, but all delicious.

I tried the jerk beef sandwich. I forgot to take a picture before I smashed half of it . The jerk flavor was awesome , peppers were spicy and it was full of meat. This was my first time and I was for sure impressed . The cheese did need to be melted and a little more juice to the beef but overall it was awesome . I will try it again for sure .

Me and my fiance came in to eat and we were ordering dessert, one of the bliss cakes, with the butter, rum topping and ice cream. We were told that the ice cream and the butter rum. We’re going to be a $1.50 extra which was fine. That was until we saw we were charged a dollar for 1 oz of ice cream. And 50 cents for gritty topping. It was like the sugar wasn’t dissolved and the alcohol was not cooked out of the butter rum topping. I ordered a bowl and it had steak in it and the steak was so hard I couldn’t even chew it. I wanted so badly for this to be good because it has such potential but maybe we just came on the wrong day. My fiance got a bowl as well, the jerk chicken and his portion was half the size of mine. They also didn’t give me the vinaigrette I paid for. Overall, It was okay but not worth $40.

My first time trying there food was today, I seen a photoshoot the owners did with the Mayor of Gary and I wanted to support and try the food unfortunately due to the way I work I wasn’t able to visit the location in Gary so I decided to try the one in Hobart. I got the jerk salmon Alfredo the flavor was nice it wasn’t very strong at all I had to keep mixing it so the little bit of seasoning could mix in, my salmon was very dry and hard and flavorless but together it was alright I also got the jerk chicken quesadillas and the jerk chicken in the quesadillas did not taste at all like jerk chicken. The portions were very large for the price so it was worth it for the money. I will have to try again perhaps a different location.

I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo with perfectly Jerked Salmon and it was amazing. I cannot describe how good the flavors were and the pasta came with just the right amount of sauce for dipping the soft buttery garlic bread. I happened to be in the Hobart area but I live closer to the location in Hyde Park so I will definitely be back…with friends!
