This was not just dinner, it was an experience! This was by far the best meal I’ve had in New Jersey and maybe even the East Coast. But it was also an experience… I was educated on everything that was on the plate and what I was eating. There were so many layers of flavor with every bite and each plate was a work of art. The service was top notch!

Had a wonderful experience dining here during opening week! The food and drinks were all very well executed and delicious. My partner and I grew up eating Portuguese food and Lita has done a great job of creating refined and refreshing spins on traditional dishes. The service was stellar and staff were very pleasant friendly and attentive. The vibes in here really are great too. Highly recommend this restaurant! We will certainly be back.

Wonderful first time dining experience at Lita. We savored every minute of it. Seated at a table for two close enough to feel the warm glow of the wood burning oven. We were welcomed by our friendly and knowledgeable server Jess G who went out of her way to give us the perfect dining experience. We ordered drinks, sourdough bread, shrimp turnovers, tuna tartar, clams, grilled octopus and paella for two. One dish more delicious than the next but the paella was the best we have ever eaten. The pace of food service was not at all rushed and Jess surprised us with a flan in out leftover bag since we were celebrating our 42nd anniversary. Truly a delightful evening!

I’m a huge fan of heirloom kitchen, with that being said, the bar is extremely high for their restaurant group. Lita is a very good restaurant but something is definitely missing. Can’t quite put my finger on it. The fancy drinks have very little alcohol in it, but the food is amazing.

Absolutely blown away by the thoughtfully crafted menu and elegance of each course. Great atmosphere and stylish decor. Amazing service and attention to detail. Went above and beyond to accommodate a food allergy so we could enjoy a special night celebrating and not miss out on any of the flavors.

The food was fresh, with great presentation and amazing flavors. I finally found a paella done where the rice is moist and burnt a little in the paella wok. It was just perfect. The caldo Verde was a great starter and paired up nicely with the paella. I was not a big fan of the dessert, it was good but didn’t love it.

This place is amazing. The Portuguese food is totally on another level. Full of flavor and dishes were served with a very neat presentation. Our waiter “Cristiano” was super friendly and very informative on what to pick.

Such a beautiful experience from beginning to end. The chefs, the service, everything! Mouth watering food with the highlights being Iberico Pork, grilled octopus, duck paella, and the mussels. The Iberico Pork just melts flavor into your mouth along with the pickles and potatoes. The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and beyond amazing with the eggplant and poblano pepper puree. I am so happy the paella do dia was duck as it was packed with flavor. It was a little cold but the delicious crispy socarrat totally made up for it. We paid extra for the Carne De Porco so we could have the paella for 2. *worth it* The mussels were a surprise as the tomato broth was so so good. We even loved the mussels that came with the bread service. The spicy potatoes were incredibly tasty, more so than the shrimp turnovers. The basque cheesecake was the perfect birthday cake, ate light and not thick/heavy at all. We were a little let down by the 3 pasteis de nata as they were cold, too doughy, and not flaky like the dozens we’ve had in Portugal and around here. We enjoyed our delicious drinks Leña and Eli’s. They accommodated our picky son and made him buttered noodles and a bowl of fries, which he super loved. Chef David is definitely doing good things here!

Lita is a TOP notch experience from the moment you walk in. Greeted with a smile. Beautiful decor and ambiance. Fantastic service. Christian was our server and he showed a level of care about us we haven’t experienced at a restaurant in a long time. The food was extremely delicious! Highly recommend the ham croquettes. The paella was the best I’ve had in America. The asparagus on the paella was the best asparagus you will ever eat. I’ve never been excited about asparagus but the way these break apart in your mouth and the perfect flavor was awesome. The paella was just so tasty and the rice perfectly done. They spread it out evenly on the pan and nice and flat so some of the rice gets just slightly crisped. The wine list and the drinks are done with care far beyond expectation. Food came out quickly and they really took the time to make sure we were well taken care of. Another special mention was the cheesecake. You’ve probably never tasted cheesecake like this before. We love the formula of having back of house employees trained on front of house. They are not taking 100% capacity since they just opened and it’s a very smart move. It shows the level of care they have for the product and service they put out. You need reservations for dining and for the bar. I wish there was a 6th star on Google. We will definitely be back. I hope Lita is here for a long time.
