Food was your typical New England style Chinese and the pupu platter was your average Chinese food to expect. My major issue with this place was the dude working at the front desk. I was visiting for the weekend and placed a takeout order. When we got there the door was propped open, people could be seen eating inside, and so we walked in and began paying for our meal with the woman at the cash register.

I thoroughly enjoy Li’s place, and we make a point to stop here when we are in Freeport. The food is excellent. Nice people running the restaurant, and it creates a great experience all around. Last time we visited, it was interesting, there’s no indoor seating anymore, you can eat outside or take out only.

Li’s place is beyond all expectations. My standard order includes the sechuan wonton soup at a 10 spicy level. Do you have a cold? Do you have hep A-Z? That soup will cure you! The rest of the food is delicious but good God that soup… (This is not medical advice just a glowing review.)

The Puu Puu platter for 2 can feed three people and is well-seasoned and delicious! Note that they are only open for take out orders BUT there is a bench in front if you would want to sit and eat there!

All orders are pickup in the restaurants driveway so the atmosphere is how neat your car is, but the food is great and the service is always fast and friendly.

Family Run & best Chinese food around by a LONGSHOT. I’ve been coming here since they opened this location, its fantastic, freshly made, consistent and large portions justify the price. Take out only, they bring it right out to your car.
