We are visiting from out of state. I was looking for some good vegetarian Chinese for lunch today. This restaurant was amazingly great. The service from the two ladies was the best. Bland and too expensive for the quality. I made an online order for sweet & sour chicken, rice, egg flower soup, crab puffs, and egg rolls. I liked the soup, but I felt like everything else didn’t have much flavor. I also thought it was really weird you have to order rice separately.

The kung pao chicken had all the ingredients and looked great while being served but it had no flavor that you expect with this entree. Very bland and I found myself wanting to add sriracha or other spice to add to the lack of flavor. Overall quite disappointed with the flavor of this dish

I have been going to ling garden since the mid 90s! And Every Single Time the food comes out absolutely delicious, flavorful, and well cooked! The staff is extremely welcoming, and personable and as i live in the nw area, the location is very convenient. I always get the general tao’s chicken, chicken lo mein, and the super delicious pot stickers, and the consistency is mind bending! Thank you so much for all the many years of deliciousness, looking forward to many more .

I have been to them 3 times now. They sit in a good little spot in downtown Portland with lots of things around them to see and do the food is very good. The atmosphere is very friendly lots of smiles and very clean and general parking is all over the place which is most things in Portland but these people have the. Food that’s worth dealing with the parking to get in and spend a little time to eat. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for good food stop in and see them.
