This is a nice little hometown no frills restaurant- diner. There were 8 of us that stoped in for dinner. They quickly assembled a table for us. Service was fast and friendly. Daily special was ribs or pork chops meals. That changes daily tho.

Hometown friendly. Cute Christmas decorations. Lots there at 2 in the afternoon. Ample parking. Fairly large menu. Reasonable prices. Totally recommend. Tables and booths available. Seat yourself. Looks like lots of regulars eat there.

Hometown Diner! We were at the casino and hubby wanted some country cooking. The food was amazing, their fried chicken was fantastic. Prices were so good we splurged for dessert, and so many to choose from. Our server was super friendly and the food came out quick. We will definitely be back.

Our waitress never came back to see if we needed refills on our drinks or if we needed anything else. Chicken noodle soup had no flavor at all and the homemade cherry pie had so little filling it was a disappointment. When I go to a restaurant that has home cooking I’m waiting for the food to come to the table. It’s sad that the best part of the meal was the onion rings my husband ordered. Sorry when I’m in the area again I will give the restaurant one more try and I hope to have a better experience.

The reviews made it seem like the food was astronomical but it was mediocre. That isn’t the bad part, it didn’t even feel like there was any service present. No usual “is your food okay” or “do you want a refill” and at the end when we were walking out, there wasn’t even a bye. It seemed like no one cared?!

My wife and I just moved to Cumberland from Baltimore. We were driving past, saw Lindy’s, and decided on a whim to give it a try.

Over charged for what we got, and the service was mediocre at best. Asked for an explanation of charges on the bill, and our server couldn’t figure out why the bill was as high as it was. Would not recommend.
