I called in today looking for oxtail. Spoke to the owner let him know I was coming in. he had the food ready in one minute after but when I got there. Food was excellent and he personally called to make sure I enjoyed the food after. He went above and beyond

Felt like being in a locals island joint. Very simple place but truly friendly people and great food. Jerk chicken is full of flavor and the rice and beans was rich and tasty.

Excellent customer service!!!! Food is cooked fresh daily and served very hot. I brought home 20 minutes outside of Kingston and was still able to enjoy it. The rice alone is DELICIOUS, oxtails, curry, jerk and stew chicken are THE BEST !! Have to go here !

I order the jerk chicken dinner and mash on the side I enjoy the jerk chicken extremely it’s true jerk what I mean by that is it’s no likkle bottle season I h8 that little bottle pre jerk mix its not the same. I enjoyed the true dry rub n on the fire taste of it and the mash was good as well but the highlight for me was the jerk chicken I would’ve took pic b4 but I ate everything before my review

I decided to go here after looking it up on google and seeing all the good reviews. Don’t get me wrong, the flavor of the food was actually on point, very flavorful and spicy. Absolutely everything else was poorly managed. The restaurant was freezing – it was clear someone did not want to invest in heat. The food is not made fresh that day but microwaved leftovers to order . A lot of businesses make use of microwaves so I didn’t think this was a big deal – until I found bits of PLASTIC multiple times in my meal. they do NOT use microwave safe containers and its clear. I brought this up to the owner both times – he did not seem to care. Also the portions were a complete rip off I had to spend $33 on two meals to get full. The meat portions were small and almost ALL BONES and the oxtail was especially tough and chewy. It was so hot from the microwave it started to fuse with the plastic container it was served in. I’m not the type to complain & wasn’t even going to write a review but then I woke up in the middle of the night with violent diarrhea and decided enough was enough.

Visited Linden’s Kitchen for lunch on Sunday after reading the reviews here. Was not disappointed. Had the stewed lamb with rice and peas, which was excellent…lots of flavor and very filling. Linden, the owner, takes good care of his customers and truly wants people to be happy and satisfied. You can’t go wrong with that.
