We stumbled upon this place while looking for some lunch. The food was delicious, prepared quickly and served fast too. The ladies working were friendly and even came to the table to talk with us. Loved the environment and the food. I’m happy to pay $15.50 for a bowl of pozole from here every time! Delicious!!

Amazing tacos! I ordered the birria tacos which comes with onion, cilantro, cheese, lettuce, and salsa. I also ordered the churros and chips and salsa. Delicious flavor all around. The breakfast burritos at this place are huge! I’m so happy that this place is so local – best tacos in Thornton!

My DIL and I wanted to try a new place, she had Limon y Sal on her short list of a place to try. It did not disappoint! The food was great (tacos birria with cheese and smothered burrito) and the fresh pineapple juice drinks were amazing! But best of all, is the customer service. The owner came over, chatted with us and made recommendations. She brought my granddaughter’s food out quickly to get her started. A definite mom herself that knew exactly what to do with hungry children . A+ from beginning to end, we will definitely go back.

First time trying this place out from moving from Tucson. Got the three Taco special 2 Al pastore 1 chicken. With a side of guacamole. Came out to $14 and came with cheese and lettuce topping. Not authentic at all, and the sauce is pretty watered down. Might give it a second try in the future for the quesadillas. Good service nice ladies though.

Had trouble online ordering, logins, etc. Turns out the owner prefers call orders, length of time, etc. Place has cool tables, alcohol served. The owner was very thorough checking the order, very nice. Food is awesome, salsas both green and red have heat, great flavor. Thanks so very much Limon y Sal!

We finally stopped in today, and now I know what we’ve been missing every time we passed by this little place – big flavor! The birria is simply amazing. And so are the folks running it. Such a warm, quick greeting and truly great service. All in all a genuinely good experience!

The lady who attended us had a horrible passive aggressive attitude and was smacking her gum while speaking to us and other customers. The food wasn’t very tasteful and each item was about $16 a meal. This was the first and last time we dine at this restaurant.

Ok this place right here is a special little gem. As soon as you walk in you are greeted as family. The small store front might fool you into passing it by…. Do Not Pass This Place By. You will be cheating yourself of some of the most authentic food you have had in a while. You might think back to that little family get-together where some ones aunt is an amazing cook. You get your bowl of pozole and dresss it up proper like and then boom you are so proud of yourself for making it to the party. Try the pozole here the queso birrias the birria consomé a well prepared michelada or just a beer to quench that thirst. My experience was excellent and I will be back over and over. This place is run by some amazing ladies that make you feel like the party is for you. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed the Birria tacos. You should try them. The soup was probably the star of the show. It was very flavorful and had the right amount of seasoning. They also have a few housemade drinks like Horchata and pineapple water which are a great combo for the food. I would definitely recommend this place for authentic Mexican food. The service was also great and the food reflected that. Enjoy this place.
