Went to get Mexican food for dinner & we were really excited about it. My boyfriend got the barbacoa burrito and I got the chicken tinga and Cajun shrimp tacos. The tacos were mediocre. We found them a bit bland and lacking flavor, but overall weren’t awful. The burrito was delicious and we were really enjoying it, but halfway into it we found a hair embedded into the barbacoa meat which was just gross (neither one of us have black hair either). All in all wouldn’t go here again.

Lily’s is Authentic Mexican! Everything is made fresh when you order. Pulled out of the fridge and cooked. Our family favorites are the fajitas, which are a great portion you can share, and the Sopas. I don’t want chewy pieces in my steak or chicken. I have yet to get any at Lily’s. My 11 year old is a picky eater and only wants chicken and cheese and he fell in love with Sopas at Lily! One down side is they don’t have chips, If you want them, order for pick up, and grab your own bag. Also, grab some of their sauce at the pick up window and put it in your food! It’s amazing.

I was on the island on a Tuesday and had initially wanted to go to Pico Taqueria nearby, but they were closed. So I came to Lily’s and I’m glad I did. I ordered two Cajun shrimp tacos to go and they did not disappoint. They tasted great and the ingredients were really fresh. Highly recommend!

Lily’s has to be one of the most authentic Mexican food trucks I’ve been to! The asada quesadila is jam-packed with what I think to be some extremely gooey and stretchy oaxacan cheese! They also serve plenty of flavors of Jarritos to compliment your meal. There was a 10 minute wait but that was no issue. I will be back.

Very nice service. Short wait time. Food comes piping hot. The flies + persistent seagulls hovering above can make things a little stressful. Recommend some bug zappers. Overall a nice experience. Adding some taco sauces would enhance the customer experience.

VERY EXPENSIVE!! For warning! Their limeade is the best and the food is pretty authentic! I would recommend it for sure just bring your whole wallet cuz you’ll need it.

Every year we go on our weekend girls trip, we make sure to stop at lily’s before we leave. We always have great service and the food is amazing. This year I tried food from the vegetarian menu they have and it did not disappoint. Love it and can’t wait to go back again.

We didn’t have high expectations being so close to the beach in Virginia. But this place really hit home with authentic Mexican food at a great price. A great price for the beach that is. It’s almost unimaginable to find the quality of food at this place when you’re so close to the beach on an island. We got about one thing of each off the menu and everyone was happy especially with the portion sizes very generous considering.
