Was passing through, wanted Thai food and as always I search review ratings and reviews to find “the best” in the area and landed here… Thankfully!! It is in a grocery store but dont let that steer you away!! The lady working here was so sweet (just like the other reviews stated) and even took the time to see how we enjoyed the food. We really enjoyed the panang curry, fried rice, potstickers and the Lil Bowl roll was amazing! Everything was made to order and very fresh. We will definitely be back next time we are around and try some other things! Thank you!

Tucked back little spot in the Fresh World Market, locally owned and operated by lovely lady and a small group of staff. Everything is made fresh to order, and wow is this a hidden gem. If you’re a quality sushi(and noodle) lover like myself, this place is great. Passing through town for two weeks and I’ve already been there several times. Highly recommend

This place is tucked away inside the ‘Fresh World’ grocery store. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was outstanding. We ordered yellow curry and a bento bowl that came with Panang curry, seaweed salad and a california roll.

This is the best Thai restaurant in the DMV bar none! The owner is the sweetest person and very personable, if you love Thai food there is no other place you should be eating. It’s inside of the Fresh World grocery store by the seafood section, trust me it’s the best.

Located inside the World Fresh market, this restaurant has a menu that includes Thai and Japanese food as well as a variety of drinks and desserts. I tried their strawberry lemonade, which tasted like they squeezed the lemons right then to make it, it was so fresh. The Tom kha is the BEST I’ve ever had. The coconut broth was rich and creamy and just a touch spicy, with a nice variety of bite size veggies. I got the veggie option, but there are meatatarian options too. The lobster roll was so light and fresh, made with cucumber and a slightly spicy mayo. Nid was awesome, helpful and she even was so nice talking to me about the food and it’s obvious they take pride in their products. Only drawback is that I am not local, so it will be a drive for me to come back. It will be worth it.

The staff is quick and friendly. You have options on the menu and it is a blend of Japanese and Thai cooking. It is inside the grocery store and to the right. There is plenty of parking and there is seating. It is wheelchair accessible for those who may be in need. The pricing is fair and you could pick up a few things on the grocery list while you wait for the food.

Ordered takeout on a Tuesday evening. Absolutely amazing! They manage to create a perfect balance of texture in their sushi…crunchy, chewy, and crispy all at the same time. I had the Lil Bowl Roll and the Bangkok roll. Both were something I usually wouldn’t order and I’m so glad I did. I’ve had other items from here before and everything has always been great. Order is always ready when I arrive. The owner always greets me with a smile. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I was a bit disappointed in this experience since me and my aunt go here frequently. My husband had the Panaga curry bento box with spicy tuna and the tuna was BAD, like expired bad. He now has stomach pain from eating not raw but raw expired fish. The chicken fried rice bento que 2/10, no authenticity flavor at all. The panaga curry was good. Owner is nice but for 19$ bento box that was very disappointing. Their food has always been over priced. It’s sad that I won’t be returning anymore.

A true hidden gem is Lil Bowl Thai & Japanese Fusion in the Fresh World Mall in Manassas. Starting with the kind and understanding woman at the register, the service was first-rate. I chose the drunken noodles because I was starving after shopping and needed a quick snack. These hot flat rice noodles were the height of flavor and went fantastically with a coke can. The dish has a long history and began as a late-night street food for partygoers in Thailand, but Lil Bowl has taken it to new culinary heights. You won’t be let down if you go to this restaurant, which I heartily recommend. I am confident that I will return!

This place is an amazing hole in the wall spot. Sushi was incredibly fresh and clearly made with love. Crab Rangoon was so fresh it burned the roof of my mouth. I strongly recommend the dragon roll and lil bowl roll. So much flavor and the tempura crunch is mmm so good. One thing I’ll note is that the food had a heavier eggy taste (probably bc of spicy mayo) compared to other sushi from other restaurants. However, it still tastes amazing. Mango sticky rice is a banger. Prices were a little high (64 for two) but also we bought dessert and special drinks so it might just be fine.
