Stopped in for the first time for lunch yesterday. The building itself is so beautiful and the charm keeped alive. The service was very good and the waitress was friendly. The food was so delicious. They also have a large beer and wine list. We would love to go back!

I love this building and had heard good things about it. I should have gotten the first clue when we made a reservation, they didn’t have it on file or ready, and we certainly didn’t need it on a Sunday evening before a concert on the diamond as there were only a handful of people there. The space is so cute but the food was terrible. At this price point, you expect the food to be decent. The French fries that came with two meals were obviously cooked, left out, then reheated so they were hard. The short rib sandwich was more like a frozen reheated pot roast with limp, squishy peppers. The chicken BLT was fine but the T were oddly slimy and had to be picked off. The orecchiette was very strange, like someone had put canned asparagus in a blender and added random bits of spicy pepper to the “pesto” and overcooked pasta. The meal was over $90 with two beers and was so very disappointing. I cannot recommend that anyone go here until they get new kitchen staff or have them trained again.

Oh what a cluster…this place is really poorly managed. We asked if they could manage an event with 25, and they said they could. The day of our event, we’re informed they don’t have a liquor license….and then 2 hours before we arrive, oh wait, yes they do. The food was the bright spot…it’s just that it took 2 hours to get our larger party served. Essentially just 1 waitress to accommodate us. No handicap entryways. No restroom on the first floor for older folk or disabled. Floors and tables were icky sticky. I wonder how they stay in business…

Cute tavern in town, super nice staff. Just had apps, queso and fried artichokes, both decent pub food. Substantial beer and wine list!

My friend and I went on a winter wonderland hike on the Laurel Highland trails and we were frozen and craving some warm food. My friend found Ligonier Tavern & Table by chance via a search and we decided to try it. They did not disappoint at all! The service? Immaculate! The food? I haven’t had such a filling, delicious meal like this one in quite a long time. The atmosphere? Comforting, friendly and welcoming. I cannot boast them up enough. Thank you Gretchen, for being a fantastic host. We’ll be back for sure.

The fries were absolutely horrible the worst fries I have ever had, they tasted like McDonald’s fries that were sitting out for a week. My Cuban Ruban was alright but definitely not 14 dollars good maybe 6 dollars good but it was absolutely awful to pricey for tavern food and especially when the food was HORRIBLE, I will make sure I will never eat there again.

Ligonier Tavern is a staple for the area and offers a variety of apps, sandwiches and fantastic homesyle entree’s. Other than the good food, the building itself is a historical landmark and is deserving of a visit in itself and the staff is friendly and on top of it. If you are in the area and looking for a good lunch/dinner spot, look no further.

Delightful place for dinner and a drink. I was seated at a hightop out front where you can watch the world slowly go by. The menu is limited, but the food is good and the staff is friendly and helpful.
