Jensen Beach must stop! Fabulous food! Fantastic service! Quick kitchen! Blackened shrimp and fried shrimp were excellent. Variety of sauces the peach glaze was my favorite. The pumpkin bread is a must order! I would come back and just order the pumpkin bread! Well probably shrimp or gator or catfish or frog legs too lol.

First time after driving by so many times. Tried the Okeechobee Sampler as a newbie…and it was great. I like to try different things, and having the frogs legs, gator and cooter hit the spot. We also tried the shrimp special (blackened on skewers) and it was delicious. The place is clean, and the service was great. Going back to try some more very soon.

We are visiting and I found this place of Google. The food was really good! My family loved the catfish and the grouper tacos. They have some great different beers as well. The Lexington was my favorite but the peach cider I sampled was great as well. It’s kind of a small no flare atmosphere but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the really good food, beer and dessert.

This place has history in Okeechobee (Lightsey’s), where they were established in 1977. I somehow found out they had opened a new location in Jensen Beach, had to give it a shot! I definitely wanted a sampler to get a taste of what they are all about ; fried gator, cuter(turtle), catnips, catfish fingers, & frog legs. Everything was fried perfectly. Spot on. We split the special which was Parmesan encrusted flounder with fried onions on top, served with some delicious hush puppies, guda mashed potatoes, & slaw. We really enjoyed our meal. Took home some key lime pie and peach cobbler ; heavenly.. The waitress was super nice & helpful! Jensen Beach/Stuart food scene just keeps getting better and better, and this place is a real treat for Floridians.

Has such a great experience at Lightsey’s Jensen Beach. Our server Michael was amazing, personable and knowledgeable. The chef, Tony, was awesome and makes the best food. Seriously, best hush puppies anywhere. We had a grouper sandwich, Gouda burger, and the fried gator, and ended with the peach cobbler. All excellent. Highly recommend this place. Thank you Michael and Tony. We will be back.

Been here twice first time was really good grouper sandwich. Today 12/30/22 The service was very slow it appeared the waitress was alone during lunch?.The clam chowder excellent, however the Okeechobee platter was not great. Three very bony Frog legs that looked like skeletons on the plate ? The oil seemed to be old today that was used for frying or the temp wasn’t high enough. Just not impressed for two beers two soups and the platter 59.00 . The Clam chowder was awesome maybe consider putting some crackers on the side of the soup or a roll anything would be appreciated.

Went out with friends. First time here. Catfish fingers fries and hush puppies. Fries and hush puppies made from scratch. Absolutely delicious. The manager Tony came over and welcomed us when he heard it was our first time. Our waitress Lacey was outstanding.

We ate here last night for the first time. The food was fantastic and it had a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. I had the grilled shrimp and my husband had sweet potatoe encrusted grouper. Both exceeded expectations. Price was reasonable for the quality and quantity. We are outside in a screened in patio.

Great place! Super friendly staff and all the food was delicious. I had a blackened mahi sandwich and my son had the ribeye. They were both awesome!! Lots of fried options but so fresh. Fried oysters were fantastic as were the French fries! Oh hush puppies were delicious too. They were out of peach cobbler which was a bummer but I bet it was delicious! Only complaint was they don’t sell gift cards. Really wanted to get one for my dad! We will definitely be back.
