It was ok. Not great. Not bad. I think they use whatever fries are the cheapest because in the pics I saw in reviews there were some crinkle fries, some regular fries, we got tiny little broken shoe string fries. It looked very clean and guy at counter was nice. No fountain drinks. Wish they gave you hush puppies instead of toast.

The shrimp was good, the stuff shrimp was like a rubber ball with mud inside, the fish is sway and fried hard to rubbery tough. Worst of all the fries the colder they got the more they started taste like wood.

Illusory Disasterpiece
My large family, and my friends traveled through from New Mexico and got stuck in traffic on our way back from Galveston and ended up here. So glad we did, the food was awesome but the staff was ahhhhhhmazing!!!!

My first time visiting, The fish was perfectly fried on the outside, In the middle it was jelly like and made me nauseous. Also this fish had no type of seasoning and the taste was bland.

This is the best hidden gem within the Houston and surrounding area. My friends and family along with myself love this place. The cheeseburger basket will be the freshest you’ll find around and very well made every time. I personally like there shrimp and fish crispy fried and very well priced oh and fresh every single time. The staff here are the best as well always very kind and sweet. Lighthouse has easily become my favorite place to eat.
