Great place!! Cool atmosphere, great service, great beer selection, and the food was amazing. We had the Brussel Sprouts, the Chili Burger, and the Chipotle Wrap. All of it was great!

I’m really glad I came in here! I visited last year and I think what I got was a lemon drop? But it was just me and my friend there on a weekday.

Visited the Library Taphouse this evening for the first time. They offer a wide selection of beer and a full food menu. Did not eat here but only ordered a beer as I was out celebrating a friend’s birthday. We each ordered a 16oz glass of RPM from Boneyard Beer. Wow, a 16oz glass, set us back $9 each before tip!!! Then after looking at the menu, all but two offerings were $9 per pour. The other lower price options was a 10 Barrel Pub Beer for $5 and a PBR for $4. This will likely be my only visit to the Library.

Staff is friendly, but many are new or freshly-trained. Menu pricing seems prohibitive for college students, and I more often see slacks and suit jackets than backpacks. Massive tap selection with craft-proud pricing. Not sure who the target demographic is here, but the $3 draft Rainer pints and Happy Hour well drinks are very reasonably-priced items, and a thrifty post- (or pre-?) class diversion. I will gladly update this review when I have a chance to try the food.

Peanut butter burger was awesome, and there were some great tasting fries accompanying it. Absolutely fantastic selection of beers, both local, and from across the States. Our server was really friendly, and the place had a nice buzz about it. Nice discounts during happy hour.

Service was not great but the server was new so I cut him a lot of slack. They were also short staffed. The main problem I have is with the shady money grabbing tactics used by whoever owns/manages the place, and also the mediocre food. I almost never leave harsh reviews but this place was unfortunately bad enough to merit it…

Decent food, the fried pickles were tasty. Drinks were delicious but way too expensive for how watered down they were. Service was friendly but incompetent. Had to order three times after a long wait to realize our orders hadnt been taken at all and another long wait to realize they forgot half of it. Won’t be returning, there’s too much amazing food and drink in portland to be overcharged and underserved.

This was a complete bust. We sat down and were greeted promptly, but that’s about where the good news ends. We ordered two mai tais and a smothered spuds (tater tots).

Great place. They seem to be a stepped up bar food menu joint. GREAT beer menu and this is how they cut their fries. SPECTACULAR! Side note in very respectful aside: The bartender is highly skilled and beautiful. What are you waiting for?!?
