Once again, I was not disappointed! I ordered 2 pieces of fried chicken and the broasted chicken sandwich. It was hands down the best chicken sandwich I have had in a long time. Fried chicken was tasty too. I also ordered scalloped corn & cucumber salad. Portions were huge and I was able to eat at another time too. Their carrot cake is also very yummy. The food that I received was all fresh and super delicious. In addition to great food, I received superior & friendly service! I decided to wait out in my car while it was cooked and prepared and had planned to run in at about the time I was told it would be ready, however staff brought it out to me. Made me feel like I was their only customer (I was not, they were steadily busy with other customers the entire time I was there). I absolutely will go again! I cannot wait to try other items on their menu (however it might be difficult to try other items since what I ordered was so delicious).

Heard the fried chicken was good, and that is not correct. It is Great! Love that crunch on good quality chicken. Take out sides are good too, and desserts look amazing.

What a great place! The best made-to-order fried chicken in the state, IMO. The staff is great and I got to chat with the owner, he gave me the history of the spot and his family in Hockessin. Can’t wait to go back. Weekends are PACKED!

Seriously best fried chicken I ever had. Also, the cold case food is great too! Love the shepherds pie and chicken pot pie. Everyone needs to try this place at least once. Once you do, you’ll be addicted.

Yummy! Great fried chicken, salads and, homemade deserts. I missed this place for a long time because it is behind the main strip of Lancaster Pike but, they really have great food! The fried chixken is some of the best in the US.

Great, crispy fried chicken. The crust is Minimal, the crunch Maximum. Really well done. Grease free. Cooked to falling off the bone. Even the white meat is juicy. It is seasoned right, salt and pepper, but if spice is your thing, you will find it lacking. But you can add your favorite spice mix or hot sauce. Pricey, but really good.

Honestly, very disappointed. I’d heard great things about this place, so we tried the fried chicken (takeout). We had to place our order HOURS ahead of time and when we got home, we saw that the pieces were tiny! I think we ordered 8 pieces and it did not fill up my 3 kids (12, 12, & 16). The chicken was dry and fairly flavorless. The sides were small portions for the price and nothing special. Maybe it was an off day since I have nothing to compare it to, but I wouldn’t be willing to try again.

Today was mine and my husbands first time at Lettie’s. We felt immediately welcomed as we walked in the door to pick up our fried chicken dinner (fried chicken, Mac & cheese, coleslaw, biscuits and we added green beans). It’s the rare type of positive energy that is hardly seen anymore. The owner, Tom, packed us up some turkey rice soup to try and it was beyond delicious…Everything we got was!! We will definitely be returning for more and will recommend it to everyone!! Great job Lettie’s!! Wish we had found ya sooner!! Thanks for the amazing food!!

i have an office walking distance from this place. My first time in i can tell its family owned (my favorite type of businesses) immediately took my order and gave a turnaround time. i ordered the brackenville chicken sandwich and pretzel salad. Got my order in less than 10 mins. This sandwich is literally the best thing ive had in Delaware. I finished the whole sandwich in like 5mins. Its a decent size sandwich, im so full but i want more! Its like a deep fried chicken breast with lettuce, tomato’s and buffalo sauce so simple yet so much flavor and so filling. The strawberry salad is also really good, doesnt taste over powered with sugar. Im so happy I found this place i cant wait to go back!! my new go to spot!
