Leon’s is celebrating 50 years. Great food and very friendly owner and staff. This is where the locals hang out and it diner’s, dives, and drives worthy. Try the garbage pizza which is not on the regular menu. Worth it.

The service, food and employees are great as usual. I love the spaghetti and my husband loves the farmer sandwich. We drive 20 minutes just to eat there. Just a wonderful place and very homey feeling.

Neat place family owned. Owner was such a sweet, kind man…gave us recommendations for sights on vacay. Pizza was killer, server was sweet. Just a neat mom & pops type place.

Called before getting there on our way home (Early, IA) from Ankeny to have them start our food. (We ALWAYS get a 1/2 broasted chicken with wedges, and a sausage and green olive pizza and share, bring leftovers home) as always, it NEVER disappoints!!! We hardly waited and our food was brought out. Food and service was I don’t know what it is, but Leon’s pizza and chicken are amazing. When I camp at Brushy, I will order a pizza and it will “magically ” disappear before I get back to my campsite. There is something to be said about the fact that we could eat anywhere in the city and we wait to go to Leon’s on our way home, no matter how hungry we are! Keep on doing what you guys have done since 1975! Sometime maybe I’ll try something different on the menu, but it seems impossible to beat what we always get! **my only complaint is minimal….the kid working in the kitchen with the poofy long-ish hair should definitely be wearing a hair net.

We had the appetizer sampler and the all meat pizza. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and the place was super clean. Definitely worth stopping at.

Place could use a DEEP CLEANING and some serious ventilation. You will leave there reeking of a vat of 10 yr old used fryer oil and the lack of ventilation made my eyes literally burn while we ate our food. The food it’s self is mediocre at best and the service could have been better.
