Food took two hours to receive. Overall restaurant is very dark, and it is too cold. Server didn’t bring more bread to the table. I got the red snapper plate, and I am very displeased and saddened by the flavor. All of the food was overcooked and chewy. The green stuff was extremely salty. The fish was a little burnt and not seasoned. The potatoes were not seasoned and slightly dry. The tomato topping was too vinegary. Overall, this is one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten at for the price. Also, nothing is dietary restriction friendly, and the seating is pretty cramped.

This is one of my favorite places. I love the speakeasy feel. The food is always delicious, and the service excellent. Friends and I had a wonderful dinner last night. I got the red snapper which is my usual. So good! Everyone else got a New York strip and they all raved. It was a perfect night of good food, good drinks and good service.

Salmon dinner (gluten-free) over cheese grits with grilled asparagus. The light glaze on the salmon was slightly sweet and delicious – One of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had. The server was friendly, attentive, and sharp. Also, I liked the low lighting and the atmosphere that’s very conducive to good eating and socializing.

Oh my goodness! First of all, we were seated right away at a cute little table. Secondly, our server Angela was FANTASTIC! She offered suggestions and had the sweetest smile. The food was delicious! We had the stuffed mushrooms and artichoke and crab for appetizers. Fabulous!! For entrees we had garlic shrimp and Bolognese. Both were excellent. And don’t even get me started about the white chocolate bread pudding!!! Seriously!! My new favorite restaurant and server in Oxford!

Loved this place! Would definitely visit again. The food was good. Service was great! Try the BBQ shrimp. Best I’ve ever had. The crab cakes were not what I expected but they were good. LOOOOVE the atmosphere! It kind of looks sketchy from the front door…but just trust the reviews and go in. Totally worth it!

This establishment came highly recommend by many of our friends and we finally got a chance to experience it for ourselves, we were not disappointed. We took a chance and made reservations for the evening of Wednesday before Thanksgiving and an Ole Miss home game, the place was packed. However, the service was fantastic, from the hostess to the several staff members who waited on us. The food hit all the marks even on a very busy night, it was served hot and it was delicious. It was a bit loud in there but the food and service made it worthwhile.

Absolutely outstanding. Lenora’s has a culture like no other in Oxford, and the food is second to none. Every time I’ve been to this restaurant I’ve been taken care of like a family member at a family dinner. Phenomenal atmosphere, great management, extremely polite owner, and very friendly staff. Lenora’s makes anyone and everyone who comes in feel like they’re at home. One of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to, no questions asked!
