Lenoras is a solid local bar. It’s a good spot to catch up with friends after work or or a weekend. It’s a place to go for drinks but not a meal. The bartenders are friendly and service is generally good.

Exactly what this place is supposed to be, it is. A quiet, hole in the wall dive bar with character and characters. A great happy hour alternative to a crowded meat market. Don’t be shy.

I’ve come here a few times with a friend, and the relatively low review rating baffles me. This is an extremely friendly bar, it’s got great vibe and that general dive bar category decor that many of us love, and the woman who was bartending was absolutely wonderful: friendly, attentive, and an engaging conversationalist who knows how to read and talk with people as individuals. The most important element of course is that each time we left, we were talking about wanting to come back. I would say that especially with the recent decline in service at the infamous Straphanger, and the sad demise of Bergen Brick Oven (which was more for the pizza but did also sport a great bar), giving Lenora’s a try made it easily and comfortably step in as my favorite bar in Hackensack. There’s a lot of competition in the general area, but I really wish I had discovered this place sooner, it has certainly been around. If there’s anything I wish different about it, it’s that I wish it was open a bit earlier, but honestly that’s not enough of an issue to knock it down from five stars. If you’re looking for a nice spot to have a drink in a great atmosphere, and if you happen to be a connoisseur of dive bars like myself, you’re definitely going to want to come here, and you’re definitely going to want to come back. Highly recommended, go and enjoy.

The bartenders here are usually always very rude and will probably snap at you. The customer service could definitely be better.. They should pay attention to their customers and closer attention to their services. Common sense. The girl Rosie.. is so unbelievably horrible. Don’t go to Lenora’s

Pretty decent and relaxing place to grab a drink whether you want a quick stop or to hang around for a little bit. The workers are super nice and even had some cake for my friends birthday. I wish it was a little bit more roomy or that they would bring the temperature down, however I have not had a bad time at this bar. Always meet nice people and of course, see a great variety of different drinks.

This is my favorite dive bar in New Jersey. The bartenders are great and attentive. The place is usually full of working class fellas looking to blow off some steam. It’s a good and cheap place to grab a drink.

Think of it as the coyote ugly, minus the coyote for regular folks.
