I’ve been eating food here since I was 12 years old… 20 years later & I still travel to the Bronx from NJ for their Pernil Tacos, Chuletas, Pastelillos, Yellow rice & gandules, beans, etc etc. food is amazing!

very compact lunch/dinner counter serving your standard spanish food at very low prices, got a rice beans & pernil platter for 8 bucks i could barely finish cus the portions were huge. so tasty tho, the people working here aren’t the strongest english speakers so keep that in mind – this is very much a local spot for the spanish speaking community and a hidden gem as well

I’ve been going to Lina’s since I can remember and every time Im in the area, I make it a habit to drop in and pick up a quick bite. This place is tiny, literally just about 6 stools and a counter top but it has such a close knit feeling to it. Since I’ve been going, the owners have been the same and the staff mostly has remained the same. It’s amazing to see the owner from time to time working the kitchen! My go to item from the menu are their tacos with Salsa Verde, so good! If you’re adventurous, I’d suggest getting a piece of their Morcilla, it’s amazing with some hot sauce. Ive been here more times than I can count and have never been disappointed with the food. Keep in mind this is a place where u come for a quick bite, it’s nothing fancy and cash only, but it’s definitely worth the trip!

Best enchiladas tacos! Definitely recommend. Tacos come with lettuce, pico de gallo, and please order your tacos with sour cream. The shell is a game changer.
