We dined in for dinner & the place was nice mainly, because we were the only people in the place. Seemed to be more to go orders than dine in orders. We enjoyed the nice quiet restaurant & relaxing atmosphere. The waitresses were pleasant & happy to help recommend plates & explained the spice levels. We told our waitress we don’t eat spicy food & it’s no coincidence our food was at a low spice & perfect for us. Food was delicious & we will go back to try more plates. We ordered a couple different appetizers. The steamed dumplings were delicious. Also tried the lemongrass combination appetizer plate. It comes with 2 egg rolls, 2 winter shrimp, 2 cheese rolls (similar to cream cheese rangoons), 2 gyoza & 2 spring rolls. The sweet chili sauce served with it was a little different from other places, but very good & we liked it. We also had a tasty soup that was on the specials board when you walk in, it had wide noodles, shrimp, squid & tofu. Then we ordered the Pad Thai noodles. I think we are happier with a different restaurant for Pad Thai so this one wasn’t impressive, but it was still good. We really liked all the food as a whole & hope to go back soon to try more.

Wonderful service……fresh…. beautifully presented food….our first visit……we had pad thai and Scallops with Asparagus and mixed veggies……it was a little warm in there for Texas warm humid weather and they don’t have a liquor license but can BYOB we learned…..but really really nice place…very clean……definitely will go back in cooler weather and often

Food is healthy and so delicious! I got the yellow curry with chicken and so much flavor and smooth. My husband got the chicken teriyaki and it’s a big plate with lots of veggies..so good! We also got the dumplings and egg rolls and both were tasty as well. Definitely coming back!

Great and friendly staff that looked like they were over worked during a dinner rush but still managed to provide great service with a friendly and welcoming presence. We ordered the Chicken Soup and Red Chicken Curry spice level 9 and the food couldn’t have been better. If you’re ever on the fence about trying this place, do not hesitate to give this spot a go, with a friendly staff, excellent food in both presentation and taste and some great prices that help your wallet!

Not authentic Thai but the food is good and tasty. The portion size is enormous. We ordered the usual three dishes and it was difficult to finish. I appreciated the sauce wasnt too spicy so my kids were able to eat the vegetables dishes as well. Also the gravy was light vs thick and heavy.

This place has a very good service. Their staff bring you samples of food if you don’t know the dish you are about to order. They also warn you of levels of spicy dishes and or adjust them to your liking.

I generally love Thai food but this is one of the only times I’ve ever been disappointed by food at a Thai restaurant. The pad thai was just bad. The noodles were mushy and the sauce didn’t taste like pad thai should and there was too much sauce. It just wasn’t good. I haven’t been to other Thai restaurants in San Antonio, but there must be better ones.

Fantastic experience. The food was remarkably good, the service was impeccable, the dining area was clean, well lit, cheerful and comfortable, portions were appropriately sized (enough food to to give good value without too much for a person to eat) the staff was friendly and helpful and the menu was varied and broad without being overwhelming. I am from out of town but this place is good enough to make my “must try again next time I’m back in SA” list.

Super friendly service at a family owned and operated establishment. No doubt, the food is freshly made in house. The flavors and spices conjure up authentic Thai cuisine where it is served in a very clean environment by owners who care about customer service. The tea tastes fresh and clean, and the restaurant also smells fresh and clean without that all too often encountered “Pinesol” odor. After only two visits, my wife declared that this is her favorite Thai restaurant. I am not sure if I would go that far as I have worked and lived in Hong Kong and Singapore and have experienced some spectacular Thai restaurants and cuisine. I will say this, though, as somebody who lives in the area (and is new to this area as well)… I have little motivation to go find other Thai restaurants for now. At least until I have exhausted the menu selections. The food is spot on, well presented, and served by by people who enjoy their professions. I’ll also throw this in… they offer 10 levels of heat… not mild, medium, and hot, but 10 levels. You WILL find that perfect level of heat for your personal tastes. I recommend trying the beautifully presented Haw-Mok Taylay for the perfect Thai cuisine experience. I recommend having it with white rice. The 5-6 level of heat is not too adventurous, but does deliver a nice amount of heat for those wanting a true Thai experience. Anything less than a 5 or 6 would be boring. The regular Pad Thai with chicken is better than what I have had at any other Thai restaurants that I can remember, and a heat level of 4 or 5 is perfect… on the mild side actually, but then Pad Thai is typically one of the milder dishes served at Thai restaurants because you are always given condiments to dial it up however you like. We have tried many of the appetizers and none of them have been disappointing. Pick a few and enjoy. One of your favorite details is that virtually ever dish is garnished with a small edible orchid. Besides being traditional Thai… how cool is that to have them served to you at a little place in an unassuming mall at Thousand Oaks and 281. I hope this restaurant grows and thrives for the family’s prosperity and good fortune, but I also hope it never loses its charm, quality, and personal touches that make it such a great place to dine. Oh… why only 4 stars instead of 5? Because that classic rock background music is a questionable choice for such a cool Thai restaurant. I am not going to say what should be played, but when I am looking at and consuming Lemongrass Thai food, and I hear “Hit Me With You Best Shot” by Joan Jett… uhm… nope. Maybe if it was a 24 hour restaurant, and I was in there at 2AM after spilling out of a bar surrounded by like minded partiers, then yes maybe. Something like “Asian Spa” by Dan Gibson Donald Quan would be nice on any given early weekday evening. Okay, then maybe I am making a recommendation.

I ordered through uber, the food was bland. I ordered thai hot for 2 items and one was the 7-8 level, but nothing seemed more spicy than the normal amount that would already have been made.
