Great service and atmosphere. Beers were cold and the Brisket sandwich was really good. Sandwich could have had more meat though. (That’s why I give 3 ) Fries and everything else was good. Maybe a little pricey, but you are in the PnL district.

Came for the tapping of Summer Shandy and it did not dissapoint. Ordered a 32oz Summer shandy. Then found out they were giving out free Dixie cups of Summer shandy until they ran out. I had my fair share. Great environment and the outside patio was very pleasant on this beautiful day.

The brisket quesadilla was pretty good! It was crazy packed because of the Metallica concert tonight so service was kinda slow. That being said the food was good. I would recommend checking it out.

Good food and beer. Wasn’t very busy for a Friday night, so that may say something about the quality and service, but I enjoyed it. Plus, it was nice to walk right in and sit down as opposed to the long waits at other restaurants in the Power & Light District.

Service was great, atmosphere was great, cooks were slow but the food was good. Person in charge was apologetic and offered a discount for the wait which was great but made us late for our first Royals baseball game. We waited for our food for 50 minutes. On a whole, if we weren’t going somewhere else, this wouldn’t have been to much of an issue. The waitress was very sweet. Lead person did her best to make up for the wait.

Our group of 4 visited on a Friday night and it was dead inside. The service was surprisingly slow. Bench seating inside is terrible. Unless you’re alone good luck getting up after being seated. Food was terrible, except for my husbands buffalo chicken sandwich. The order of cheese balls was cold and in a huge uneatable lump. They did remake them and they were perfect the 2nd time. The check was screwed up when we received it and we had to wait forever for the waitress to come back so we could fix it. Also the silverware had old food crusted on it and we got a 50% discount after almost using it.

The food was very good but overpriced. I guess that is to be expected at P&L but it is a lot for a small amount of bar food. The wait staff is not overly friendly but I did come on an event night so it may not represent the usual quality of service. The decor is nice and there is a nice outdoor area but the seating is perhaps the worst designed setup I have ever seen in a restaurant. They want to do a more community-style long table setup. I get it, it’s a nice idea. But the industrial-chic benches are way too high and heavy and, since you will likely be seated at the same table as a stranger, you have to awkwardly work together just to get the seat pulled up to the table. And they are incredibly uncomfortable to boot. The idea is great, the execution is bad. Get rid of the medieval torture device seating and this could easily be 4 instead of 3 stars.
